We run synthetic on the Lexus and I think it's only like $50 for an oil change.
Now you get why I don't waste my time doing it myself.
Full sythetic at valvoline is over $100 for my lexus.
Let me see if I can find the invoice from the last oil change on the lexus.
Found the transaction on my bank account. The Lexus was $55.21 for synthetic.
The Tundra was $29.36 back in November. I think it's due for another soon.
Im gonna see if theres a midas around me. I usually dont care about saving a couple bucks but thats a good amount. I just like valvoline cause i dont have to get out of the car.lol
Oil is oil. As long as it is changed on a regular basis, I don't think my Toyota motors care what brand I put in it.
Lol I think there is a Valvoline like that in Yucaipa. I just drop mine off and either go to lunch or drop it off in the morning and pick it up when I get lunch.
Im confused now... r we talking about changing ur oil or we talking about "get ur oil changed"... a friend of mine told me when u CA guys (sry persons) start talking about "changing ur oil" on an open forum it code for being on the down low. She said thats how she found out her ex was getting plowed... not judging just looking for clarification

Crazy that there is an entire forum to discuss engine oils. I get there are differences, but I don’t think the differences are enough for me to worry about it in my low powered Toyota engine. As long as it’s decent oil and the right spec, I don’t think my engines will care. In a high performance engine it might matter. Just my two cents.
