Is the tundra 4x4?… always liked those 1st gensSo I did a thing.
needs a little bit of work such as; remove the lift, new front tires (probably going to look for all new OEM replacement wheels and tires), fix the fuel gauge, fix drivers side windows.
Now I gotta decide if I’m going to keep or sell the tundra.

My buddy has one with over 250k miles and still drives like new. You will be very happy with that transmission when you towSo I did a thing.

Gonna go with skinny 33’s instead of 35’s. Might go with some sort of an all terrain but I’ll likely stick with a decent truck tire. It’ll be clean back to stock.
level, air bags, 35’s *stock
That’s how I already feel driving it lolLift more, methods, metal mullisha swag and monsters…
Unfortunately not, it’s 2wd. It’s a great truck for most of the things I need a truck for in daily life. Drives nice and comfortable unlike heavier duty trucks. Is the tundra 4x4?… always liked those 1st gens
That’s good to hear. With the amount I plan to drive it, I don’t think I’ll break 250k miles any time soon. It’s really nice having the better trans. It didn’t get hot going up the grades or against head winds. The long wheelbase makes highway towing so much more comfortable at speeds and with winds. My buddy has one with over 250k miles and still drives like new. Get a decent all terrain tire considering your 33s. I had falken wildpeak all terrains on my last truck and had no complaints when looking at them on a tow rig/all terrian. Straight street tires blow in the smallest amount of sand.Getting the new tow rig all dialed in for future trips.
Ordered some air bags, tow mirrors, ham radio, head unit, and some U bolts to remove the lift.
I need to find some time to make the drive to LA for some OEM alloy wheels I found so I can order some new tires. Tire sizes are pretty limited once you get to 33’s unless you want a mud terrain or all terrain tire.
You are probably right. I'll just stick with some AT's. My brother and a few friends recommended the wildpeaks. I'll see if I can find those.Get a decent all terrain tire considering your 33s. GMC and Chevy are the same pattern as the Tacoma. Just get some cheap steelies for it.
8 lug lyfe
8 lug bro.
Also I want the OG 8 lug alloy wheels that came on the GM trucks during that era. They look good a stock wheel.
