If they can make that kit as good as he's claiming I might not bother with an SAS on my 2nd gen and just put that on instead, and move all my total Chaos crap to my 3rd gen.

Couple issues I see though:

I'd imagine to get the "complete" version of the kit, it's going to be at least $10k for the arms, RCVs, shocks, and steering rack. That's already well into SAS territory.

He's claiming to get more travel out of a 2.75 than other companies are getting with a 3.5. Probably not impossible, I'm just skeptical. Another issue would be, I'm assuming that this is with the high angle RCVs.....Do OEM even have that much travel range or will it have to the strapped to gimp the travel range for those that don't have $2500+ for RCVs?

Word on the grapevine is they won't do a public release on the marrack until next year. So a complete suspension kit is how long into the future? Don't hold your breath. Maybe 2021?

Moving the front tires forward gives a better approach angle.... But will make break over angle worse, which is just as big of an issue as approach angle on 2nd/3rd gen trucks, so you're just trading clearances off.

I also don't see how it's possible to clear 37s in any way shape or from without tubbing based on my own truck and what I've seen from others. Even guys with 3.5 kits tub a little for 37s.

On a other note... Does anyone want to punch people in the face for asking to prototype shit for companies? That has to be as annoying as people asking for "sponsorships" .

Looks pretty cool, glad it's not another copy of the standard style vertical mount uniball set ups.

I really like this idea. It is very similar to what Brian from Front Range Off Road built for his 97 4Runner several years ago, it is also a +2. Brian is on 37's without a lot of tubbing. What I like about this is that it actually moves things forward to better both clearance and better caster. I know that Brian has done a 8" conversion in front with a dana 300 and can do front digs so I really think that there is a lot of potential. Like others though I wonder about cost in comparison to SAS.

If they could make that in a stock width for the 3rd gens that would be great... Im sure it wont be as good as a solid axle but it sure would be nice to run 35s and 37s without constantly feeling like your ripping the front end apart when you turn the locker on

I don't really see a reason to keep it stock width if you plan to run 37's. You'll just rub the shit out of the frame at full lock. I already rub the frame as it is, so another inch would rub all the time I feel like. +2" would be perfect for someone that wants almost stock width, but gains the extra clearance of +2".

Frame rub is why I keep thinking about 3.5 BS if I go to beadlocks. I barely rub now but I also have 1.25" spacers all the way around. With that and that added 1" of backspace I'd clear. I'd also be stock width that's 4.5" over stock width with zero travel gain. Maybe a +2 LT is really the best idea. lol

I already notched my frame in the front to clear 35s on 4 inch backspacing and there's still a good amount of room to grow before id be hitting it again, so the frame rub isn't as much of an issue for me. Before the notch, it was bad though, if I was turned and it rubbed the lugs on the tries grabbed hard enough to totally lock up the wheel and it would just slide lol
