Google says averages for January in Phoenix are highs in the upper 60s and lows in the mid 40s. Probably about 10 cooler than that near either of the wheeling spots. Plus the potential for a 20 degree swing up or down from that.

 #LoveTheDesertWeather:rofl:

All fairly similar in build to @4Running Daily @Blender @stumbles and a couple other guys here.

Depending on if you guys want to run 1 or 2 full days, we can fill those up.

Florence Junction is east of the metro area (NW of Florence, AZ)
Elvis, Woodpecker, Ajax, Jack Handle should all be doable with our rigs. Would be a long day to hit all of those cleanly. We could glance at Highway to Hell after running Woodpecker also.

Table Mesa is north of the metro area (North on I-17 between New River and Black Canyon City, west side of the interstate).
Raw Deal, Lower Terminator, Upper Terminator, maybe Predator with body damage almost guaranteed. Collateral Damage would the crazy option out there (BIG waterfalls).
I'd say make a full long weekend out of it. I can take off of work Friday, and do some wheeling Friday afternoon, all of Saturday, and part of Sunday. I will be towing the rig out there, so I can wheel hard without worrying about driving home.

Goal Dates: Jan 11-13

Initial Plan:
Friday, California boys arrive mid day
Setup camp in Florence Junction east of Phoenix
Wheel Elvis and similar to get the appetite going

Saturday, get into the harder stuff FJ has to offer...Woodpecker, Ajax, Highway to Hell, etc.

Sunday, transfer over to Table Mesa in the morning and dabble with the Terminators, Predator, and Raw Deal
Bid farewell as the travelers head back home.

Are most of these trails pretty short? Or do any of them have any real length to them?

Also depending on the difficulty of the trails, we may want/need to split groups up into two smaller groups.

All pretty short (.5-2 miles in washes).
Can be 0-10 miles of dirt roads and shelf roads in between.
So a couple hours per trail on average? Of course that depends on group size and rig capability.

Exactly give or take. Plus breakage/Recovery/issues, etc.

Stuff at Table Mesa is typically shorter and can probably average an hour per trail.

Transfers between trails varies between 15 minutes to an hour.

About an hour and half between FJ and TM areas.

Well then I'll let you coordinate the logistics of things since you know the area. I'll just focus on getting out there as early as possible Friday with my rig and plenty of beer :beerscheers:

Vehicle Needs:
34” plus tires
Armored
At least 1 locker, both preferred
Winch on most of the rigs recommended
Ok with some body damage
Know how to drive in the big rocks
Nice to have ham/race radio

I should have the 4runner more capable for this run. But might just have the 1 locker in the rear. I don't think the taco will be ready by this date.

I like the general plan I've got. As we get closer, I'll put some pins on the map for where to meet/camp/etc., what trail maps to download if so desired and such. A few of us will likely prerun most of this between last week and then also. Mtn Dew please!:beerscheers::afro:

I see you lowered the tire requirements just to let me make the cut
