Yeahhh. I attached myself to the most normal one. I think.I can definitely see that...
I think I’ll write up mini biographies on our normal wheelers at some point.

Except I don't drive my 4runner to work very often. I did today though! I haven't unlocked the rear axle since our Motino trip, so I pull into the parking lot with tires chirping hahahIf My lender drove up in a 3rd gen looking like yours, I wo

Looks like I will need to buy property in AZ next. @AssBurns @4runner DOA and now you too.
I would imagine that most of your clientele would have zero appreciation for what they are looking at. They would probably think your a struggling trying to scrap by and wondering if you can actually get them there house, lol
You pull into my driveway tires chirping... Its a panty dropper...
Low priority right now. I hate electrical stuff (Hence why my fuel pump is now on its own harness and switch)Brah. Just fix it all ready.

That would be a bigger issue with axle shafts than diff issues. Diffs break from shock load. And he wonders how he keeps blowing out his rear gears.

I dress pretty casual for my line of work. Dress shoes, wrangler jeans, and a pearl snap button shirt or polo.

It's certainly adding more stress, but not as much as offroading does IMO. All the stress loads are going through the axle shafts and carrier. The added ring and pinion stress is less than hauling ass up a hill or towing. As long as you aren't chirping tires through a turn under heavy throttle, you'll be fine. I still do it though hahaI can't imagine the binding on pavement is doing the gears any favors regardless.

Oh yeah I'm not worried about axle shafts. Our axle shafts are stronger than D44 shafts, so our little HP and 35's wont hurt themNah, your fine. our trucks don't have enough HP and TQ to twist axle shafts. Now if you were full lock and doing doughnuts on dry asphalt... maybe but pretty sure you're fine.

I've seen a couple D35 shafts shear in the carrier. One of them made for a fun trail repair in the rain, but we got hammered and partied while BBQing, so it was fun hahaI've only seen axle shafts twist on full spool street trucks and cars pushing 500 HP. my buddy twisted is ford 9" axle shafts... after the spool went in and a procharger.
