They gotta be better on the road then Pitbulls and they are a shit ton cheaper. I wonder how they do in the rocks?
Look pretty decent in the rocks unless the guy and chick have amazing throttle control. I'm looking but cant find any in the 35 with a 17 tho. I barely looked for 15min on Amazon tho

Do the Milestar Patagonia M/T tires run true to "calculated" size?

So a skinny'ish 33" (285/70r17) would be 32.7" x 11.2" (go ahead, let the bashing begin... snowflake I ain't)

We all know that different manufacturers produce tires that can all over the spectrum compared to calculated dimensions. Which as long as you are trying to stay close to stock isn't too much of an issue. But when you are increasing the tire dimension away from OEM it can be problematic and I suspect is one of the main reasons that it is so common to field questions around rubbing - from mall crawlers and wheelers alike.

Background: I picked up a second hand set of OEM rims (2014 FJ, not chrome @eimkeith) to put onto my truck and they came with the existing tires. They are technically larger than my stock so I figured what the hell put them on and see how they'd work. But the physical dimensions are WAY less than the stock even they they are a larger tire - they look ridiculous.

That got me thinking I needed to ask all of you Patagonia M/T owners this question as this is my lead contender in new tires.

Thanks do they also look to be about 12.5” in width, because that seems pretty spot on in diameter.

crap - I'll get that tomorrow :)

I'd kill to find a decent tire in 35x11.5x17. My PBR's are are very true 12.5 and they rub my frame just slightly at full lock and stuff. Hell, if I could find a 37x11x17 I'd make the jump tomorrow. I'd have to throw on a 1/2" body lift. Yep, @eimkeith , I just said body lift. lol

Guys, I think this is what is called "growth" or something.

I've also did a small search on smaller width 35s. No luck, but from what I heard there was an 11" wide 37 out there. I think Nitto makes it?

Thought I might :threadbump: this... (I figure three people verifying the dimensions for Milestar and I'll be happy). Frankly, if you respond with any tire size vs measured dimensions it might be a nice resource to have on the site. For others to know - greater good and all.

As of now we have: (USER) - Brand Size = height x width (contact patch "CP", measured) / height width (calculated)
@eimkeith - Milestar Patagonia M/T 315/??r??(75r16 likely) = 34.625" x ??" / 34.6" x 12.4"
@Arcticelf - Milestar Patagonia M/T 295/70r17 = 34" x 11" (10.5") / 33.3" x 11.6"
@clntng - Milestar Patagonia M/T 265/70r17 = 31.3" x 10.4" (9.0") / 31.6" x 10.4"

I've got a set of 295/70/17s

Measured at 11" tread width (which is pretty far down the side wall, the contact patch is more like 10.5"). The diameter is pretty close to 34", within the tolerance of a tape measure and eyeball on the side of the truck.
