Did you get the LT ones?

Goodyear makes any size smaller than 33 in a P rated tire as well for people that only want the look and traction

Never had anyone I personally know have any issues on an LT Duratrac

@Hank cut a sidewall on a LT one out on a fire road

I also want to say, and I don't feel like searching, that both p and lt are 2 ply sidewall.

Probably should’ve mentioned these are for my tundra which is 99% work truck/tow vehicle. So mainly need a 45k or higher, not an insane aggressive pattern, but needs strong sidewalks because we’re I do tow is mainly sharp rocks and meth needles (stoddard wells, Johnson valley, etc).

Still leaning towards the falken but .....jew

I think both are available in 35. Both are excellent tow tires, both have excellent ratings (Noise A, tread wear 500, heat A) both are Tier 1 tires.

You won't go wrong with either.

Dude, I didn't even hit a *sharp* rock the first time I blew one out. In the course of 2 years, mostly easy wheeling mind you, I replaced 5 tires due to sidewall cuts, slashes, or blow outs.
You have blown more sidewalls than anyone I know and you don't even wheel that hard. I think you have a driver error problem :flipoff:

Probably. Or I actually drive faster than you so I don't notice the shit little rocks that like to take out sidewalls.

Honestly most of mine were duratrac issues. I've had 4 since over 2 years. 2 were much older tires on the Mojave road which is known for eating tires (8-10 year range) and 1 of those already had a pinhole in the sidewall so it was ready to go anyway. 1 I have no fucking idea since I wasn't driving fast other than I wasn't really aired down on fireroads. And the last one was driver error.

When have we ever driven in the desert together? I highly doubt you drive any faster than I do.

Yeah I don’t think duratracs were really made to do the stuff we like the do with our trucks. I think they are more for the casual weekend wheeler at best. They seem to perform great in the stuff 95% of the people that drive need them for.

I'm sure you move faster than I do. All this plate fucking armor keeps me a little slower. @Mike_taco4x4 and I were hitting 60-70 regularly out in Mojave back in May though. Haha.

After following most of you guys the last couple years, you’re all amateurs next to @Airdog

Well yeah. He's had secondaries in the front since I've known him, and now he's fucking long travel rear. Also no fucks to give. I definitely need to LT the tacoma for go fast, the runner is just too heavy now.

Even before he got that rear done I was struggling to keep close enough to see his dust cloud.

And then I saw his drive sideways up a muddy mountain. Lol it was entertaining

I've never driven with him, but sounds like his truck rides pretty well, and he drives the hell out of it. Hey @Airdog, when are we gonna do some wheeling? I need to see this thing in action.

She not bad. If you can get them for 800 sounds like it might be worth it. If my truck looked cool, I'd make a shirt of it.
