Damn dude you are nuts!
I'm out here just trying to find the next fuse in my suspension. So far I've only bent a spindle and that was before adding long-travel. Still on the stock differential assembly (but upgraded to 4.88s), transfer case, steering rack, and tie rods. Technically, I did break a long-travel axle joint (before I got a pair of RCV axles) due to incorrectly measuring my limit strap length.

Honestly, it's like I tell anyone that asks me.. I don't recommend anything I've done to my suspension, especially as much so since I'm just making it all up as I go.. but that's what's fun about it all to me.

Had the truck for almost 4 years now since buying it new. 2 years of that it was lifted on 37s. Added 40s and 4.88s the 3rd year. Added long-travel the 4th. Next is 5.29s and larger tires then I think I'll finally be done with the main components of the build.

I've been running the stacked combo of the bracket lift and long-travel suspension for over 6 months now without issues (90% crawling because I'm not dumb enough yet to jump the truck with my glued together suspension setup). Also done several diamond trails including a night run on the double diamond Bronco Peak trail without breaking anything. I only tried these new spindles because I have bent a previous set of the lift kit's cast/ductile iron spindles in the past after hitting a 2-foot boulder at moderate speed so I figure try making my own (if it fails, I'll just go back to my warrantied replacement set of lift spindles).

I did finally make it onto @6100memes page though! A little surprised I was able to fly under the radar until now because I have a bunch of other sketchy things I've made.

Lol matter of time until I end up on their page, but I never post on ig. It's a learning experience.

As long as you know and understand the risks you are taking with your glued together homemade stuff, then it's totally fine. Like you said, you aren't dumb enough to jump it as it sits. Have you though about making a fully fabbed spindle at some point? Something a little more legit when it comes to build/strength.

I saw the 6100memes post. Thought it was pretty funny. Glad you are owning it and able to laugh at it instead of turning into a raging butthurt douchbag. Just keep learning and practicing your skills. Post questions here for feedback as you go, so we can all help you stay off 6100memes lol :beerscheers:
