Delrin is marginally softer than Aluminum, so you'll get some benefit.

Do you have a pic of the setup you have now? I'm curious what about your set-up is driving the rack up like that.
I've seen some other folks mentioning noticing the same thing for them, but none have 37s, might be the little bit of extra tire adds enough stress to cause more vertical deflection.

Just a TC +2 race kit on 37s

Have to say that the TRE extension and the angle of the assembly at full droop will definitely cause more upward force on the rack. Exactly how many inner tie rods have you tweaked? If you are trashing the rack bushings and not the inner tie rods that is a testament to your driving finesse.
Delrin will still fail albeit not as soon as poly.
I say solid mount the rack at this point.
Keep in mind my experience is limited to poly rack bushings, stock length UCAs and LCAs and 35s. But I have managed to bend at least 3 inner TREs that I can recall

Interesting. I think @Stairgod is right. The 37s probably do add just a little extra.
The most pious of thrown explosives has yet to trash his rack, although he doesn't wheel much....
But can definitely see 37s trashing everything steering related

Truck update: shackle hangers are in, springs are in, bump cans are in.

Now I need to:

Finish and install the shock hoops
Make and install lower shock mounts
clean the inside of the bump cans
install bumps
rebuild, revalve, and install shocks
Put the gas tank, brakes, and ABS back in.

Hope it fucking works.

Ive never had a critical failure on a crawling trail until october when I bent a tie rod/broke the +2 steering extension..... then a couple miles later the ADD tube catastrophically failed due to damage from a previous trip....then the front carrier/r&p/housing failed from previous damage on the next trip.

Damn. You had a run of good luck, until it went bad.

I like my approach of one failure per year better.

What Andy fails to mention is he never broke because and I will paraphrase:

"I take care of my shit"

The whole time @AssBurns and I would tell him it was just luck and that his turn would come. Nobody gets away with it. Everyone breaks eventually.

So when @Tetten did break it was years of luck that all came back to bite him in the ass. It was glorious and a true vindication of mine and Stevens theory. We all had a good laugh. Even Andy. lol

Thoughts after 6 hours of highway and 2 of light trails:

- need less compression valving. 20, flutter, 18, 18, the rest 20s.

- hydro bumps are better than @Plastics Guy durobumps. But not enough better to justify the price difference.

-propperly speced.leaf pack for the weight of the truck makes a world of difference.

- if I ever out grow this setup I'm going to do a back half and 4 link.
-- if I ever suggest that someone shoot me please.

Notes from testing day 1 at Rausch Creek:
-Front end needs more lift
-Shocks need some valving work
-Bump cans need more gas, 150psi isn't enough.
-Need to adjust the shock hoops for more down travel.
-Gusset all the things, before anything breaks.
-Get a damned locker in the back end.

No issues, shackle hangers worked well, and didn't get hung up on anything. Several places I used to drag ass now I can roll over easily.

Sidenote: where were you? We did not see you today.
Also, I can find at least a half a dozen spots where those hangers will make you need to winch. ;)

All over, but only ran the blue section in C and 11. Making sure everything works and screwing around with Ragnar.

@Bastek showed me your trail map, looked like a good day. Locker required in there, or no?

I'm sure you can, but if it's only half a dozen spots that's pretty good. I can probably make them an inch shorter, but I'm not sure that's worth it, I was too generous with my allowance for shackle swing and spring thickness.

Only needed lockers a few times mostly due to slippery conditions. And some random dick measuring. Which to his credit Sebastian not only participated in but held his own.

It was a soupy mess, I was hoping the ground would be frozen by now.
