This will be my thread moving forward with hopefully mostly wheeling and a little building/fixing thrown in.

3.4 Supercharged Rebuilt at 175K with 2.0 Pulleyboys pulley
URD 7th injector
5 speed
Dual cases using Trail Gear Adapters
front reduction 23 spline 2.3:1, Rear chain drive J Shift 2.56:1

Gearing:
front 4.88:1 with ARB locker
Rear 4.88:1 with ARB locker

Suspension:
Front 2.5" Kings with 650lb
Total Chaos upper control arms
Rear 8 wrap LC coils
2.5 Kings off a lifted FJ Cruiser with Remote Resi's

Got a little further with the bumper.






Still need to:
1. mount and hook up winch controller
2. get Winch Rope spooled
3. hook up turn signals
4. be patient for the 4-6 week wait on my Pittbull Rockers....... :tumbleweed:

Needs beadlocks. Love the way the bumper came out!
I'm concerned that I really will need beadlocks, when I wheel I air down to 8-10 psi and with the MTR's I have never even burped a sidewall but Pittbulls have a reputation that they struggle to stay on the bead, at least the bias ply do. So we will see.

Same, it's very impressive that I've ran 8 psi for days on end and never lost any air. I might try a little lower one of these days just to see how low I can go with my 7" wide wheels without losing air. When wheeling with @Hank and his treadwrights, he blurps air all the time when I'm spotting him.

Haha ain’t that the truth. I’m usually down at 9-10ish. There was one ledge I was dropping off of tonight and I’m surprised it’s still on the bead!!

I have been running the Front Range Off Road rear full float kit for the last year and have loved it. The only down side is that I lost my rear ABS which is not a huge deal but several times this year I have had the rear end lock up in the rain (rare in AZ except this year) and it messes with my speedometer and the ABS light is on. Well each of these are no big deal but they collectively bug me. I have had a rear axle seal leaking and so I thought that while I have the rear end apart to fix the seal I might as well fix the ABS. I have been told that it is not possible but that is only a challenge. My neighbor who is a great mechanic and a former machinist offered to help me so first we had to decide how to get a tone ring on the axle. We decided to machine an interference fit collar that would hold the tone ring. So some 1-3/4" .250 wall DOM and we were off to the races. Cut some rings and then began by opening the inside to a .003" interference for the Axle shaft and then turned down the outside to be a .002" interference with the tone ring. Then we pressed the collar into the center of the tone ring then they went into the oven for 30 minutes and then we drove them onto the shafts. Tomorrow everything will go back together and hopefully all the ABS problems will be solved and I can move on to more fun things. :beerscheers:

what did you say the WMS width increase was with the full float kit? (you told me before, but I've forgotten)

We got it all put back together tonight and I didn't even get to the end of the block before the ABS light went out!!!! So stoked I can't even tell you.

The WMS depends on which hub you use. if you use the IFS hub from a 86-95 then you will gain 3 inches in width, but if you use a solid axle hub, 81-85 then your WMS will stay the same. I have 85 hubs so I didn't gain any width on the rear.

So now for the down side of this. And for me it's small.

You can no longer pull the axle shaft out through the hub. The hub chunk will have to be removed to withdraw the shafts. For me this is not a huge deal as I simply don't need to get into my rear axle very often. Now if I can finally get the E-Brake hooked up I will be done with the rear disk conversion.
