Dont feel like paying for a tow.. ima try it myself first. I mean a hipster like yourself can do it im sure i can get it done myself
Shouldnt be to difficult. My truck was under warranty when fuel pump went out so i had the dealer do it. It went out the day after I drove home from Moab ona 5 day trip. Lucked out

I swapped one out 20 years ago and it worked fine. Just sucks i need to do it in my carport in the sun

I didn't take the bed off because cap and whatnots. It was a bitch. Be careful with the big gasket and getting the pump housing all lined up in the notches. If it isn't sitting perfectly, dont force it. Check to make sure its in the right grooves.

oh and when you add the SS tie for the retrofit, I did not dremel it. I heated the tip of the strap up and melted it through so the hole is EXACTLY the same size as the strap. I am looking for pictures but not sure I took any. so dumb, sorry.
