Got it aligned and on a snow run last weekend. Most if it was tracked out but was still nice to get out. I did rub a tiny bit on the flare at full compression. The alignment tech had to move my tires back a smidge to get camber is spec. I’m at about 4.5D caster and 0.6D camber. Drives great but...
We’re rollin. Solo arms got it done. I clearanced a ton up front but the fenders and flares are fully intact. Glad I spent the time to do it right. it should never rub even when wheelin hard. Alignment on Tuesday. Still need figure out how to contour the bumper.
So much for a budget build lol… I was rubbing the firewall pretty bad with the LCA moved all the way forward so I was left with a decision; chop the firewall or get the solo lowers that move the LBJ an inch forward. After chatting with some local fab shops for tub quotes, the price was...
These dawgs are tall! Have to rip out the washer reservoir and figure out how to get more clearance out back. Bumper needs a trim. Still hopefull I can get away with out tubbing with a good alignment at full bump. Would cam eliminator plates help?
Thanks for all the diy stuff man. I reference your videos all the time. Did your elocker swap a couple of years ago and it looks factory if you didn’t know better.
Picked up these 34/10.5r17s toyo at3s yesterday. I believe it is the perfect size for a mild wheeler who wants ground clearance without all the work. D load 54 lbs. I dig the look on these sequoia wheels I picked up for 100 bucks a couple months ago. Going to do some clearancing today and pound...
Things are starting to get closer to coming together. Just need to starting saving up.
Picking up some 34/10.5 toyos next month (D load, 54lbs)
4x sliders going on by the end of the year
Got some doc offroad skids up front
For suspension opt offroad is suggesting I do some 12” outboard...
My thoughts exactly. I moved to the “mountains” so I want something that isn’t too skinny like a 255 for snow wheeling but still a narrow contact patch with some height. This at3 is looking perfect for my use case other than being a tad heavier then I’d like and D instead of C load but pretty...
What psi are you dudes running for street driving? My truck is a weekend warrior and it’s getting some toyo at3 34x10.5r17s D loads next month (finally). D load shouldn’t run as harsh as an E. doubt I’ll be at 35psi like my SL wildpeaks I have now. I figure chalk test is the answer so just...
Hell yeah. I know a lot of the parts sellers are pushing radflo but was curious if the price increase was justified or if they are just cashing in on their popularity.
Anyone have an opinion on radflo vs ads? Radflo used to be the budget yet high quality option but in the last 6months a set of 2.5 with resis have gone up to the same price as the big dogs. Advantages of radflo are custom tuning vs factory tuning (probably just loading 1 of a handful of standard...
