    Weird clicking sound on deceleration

I did this and it sounds like its coming from the lower control arm. I put my hand on the LCA as I was lifting and felt ticking when I hear the sound. I lubed the UCA (Camburg) bushings, swaybar links, and shock mounts. I'm also thinking it may be the body bushing from all the twisting last...

    Weird clicking sound on deceleration

I don't know how old they are. I bought the truck, used, in February so I don't know when they were last changed.

    Weird clicking sound on deceleration

I don't know what the torque on the axle nut is set at. I never removed it. The lugnuts were tightened to 90 ft/lbs.

    Weird clicking sound on deceleration

These are the spacers I'm using (Sorry for the huge pic). Not hub centric. I just needed them to clear the caliper. The same sound occurs when I jack up the spindle. I will take a look at this when I get home. Thank you. Deceleration off the throttle. No braking. The popping does not happen...

    Weird clicking sound on deceleration

Last weekend, I swapped out the front wheel studs on my 99 4runner for longer ones so I could run a small (1/2") wheel spacer and some Pro-Comp Rock crawler wheels. Truck drove fine all day Saturday and did great wheeling at Rowher Flats on Sunday. Monday, while I was driving, I noticed a...

    99 runner no power

Ok. Next question. How much space should I have between the A-arm and the bump stop. It looks like I have an inch to an inch and a half? I feel like there should be more distance than that. Thank guys.

    Looking for a replacement O-ring

Found the whole kit on rock auto for $9 plus shipping. If I tear the o-ring when I separate the reservoir, I’ll use it. If not, I’ll just hang onto it for that price. Return shipping would probably e the cost of the parts. Lol. Good call. Thank you.

    Looking for a replacement O-ring

99 4runner. Does anyone know where I can get the o-ring that sits between the power steering pump and the pump reservoir, part number 90301-11016? I've been to my local dealership and they told me the o-ring was discontinued with no ETA at this time. I checked with dealerships across the...

    99 runner no power

Update: the jumper wire that was in the engine compartment fuse box that ran from the “FOG” relay to the “TAIL” 10 amp fuse allows the lights to switch between high and low beams. Kinda a sketchy way to make it happen, but I’ll leave it until I figure out a cleaner way to wire it. Now to chase...

    99 runner no power

Ok. Follow up question now that the truck is running. The truck has LED headlights that now are stuck in the bright mode, but the “brights” indicator is t on. I think either the jumper wire that I pulled from engine compartment fuse box or the two wires that were randomly hanging under the...

    99 runner no power

Last night, I just started from the beginning and retraced everything. Turns out the connector on the negative battery cable was loose. I clamped it down tight and the truck fired right up. Kinda stupid on my part, but didn't realize it until after checking everything else. Thanks for all the...

    99 runner no power

Thanks for the welcome. I’ll try to get some pics tonight. How do I check for power to the ECU? I don’t have an immobilizer on the truck that I know if. It just takes a regular, unchipped key.

    99 runner no power

Hello. I'm new to the site, and would like some help. I recently bought a 99 4runner (3.4L 4x4) with 6 aftermarket LED's on the front. After getting under the hood, I noticed what I would describe as a rat's nest of wires, in line fuses and relays for the lights shoved right next to the battery...
