    The dumbest way to break...

1st gen Runners have an access plate under the back seat for the fuel pump. no idea why they quit putting them in.

    Solid pinion spacer question

I had a conversation with Marlin years ago about the benefits / detractors of the solid spacer vs crush sleeve. if I remember correctly the thought was that there is little advantage either way. Having set up gears using both I would say that setting up with a crush sleeve is easier as it is a...

I was surprised too. I don't think the lowers are the same but the uppers totally work.

    SoCal BS Thread

I was about to start airing down when the guy pulled up with a winch on the front of his rig. out in two minutes. super easy. It was fun for me and my 12 year old but a little hot for my wife and 10 year old. Now I just have to get the sand out of everywhere. :)

    The Master Compatibility Thread

I can confirm that rear UCA's are interchangeable between 3rd and 4th Gen Runners and Fj Cruisers. I Got a FJ rear UCA and used it on my 98 Runner.

So I’m bringing the family to SoCal for the week and we will be headed home Saturday or Sunday. We will be in the bronco and I thought it might be fun to spend Saturday wheeling. Is anyone doing a run we could tag along with?

    Tired of this sh**

Brian is a great guy and very helpful. When they first built that Runner I talked to him and they built a custom mount to put the diff in and It's helpful to own diamond axle to build a custom length passengers side extension. Pretty much everything Brian (Front Range Off-Road) builds is top...

    Tired of this sh**

I'm actually considering a ford 8.8" 31spline IRS diff from a 2005 ford explorer. Eaton sells a selectable locker for about 800 for it, and your can get gears down to 5.13. I'm planning on centering it. Of course it will need custom CV axles and going to a t100 oil pan, but I'm pretty sure it...

    Welders, welding, and stuff

I have a weldpak 140 that I use for things that don't need to be pretty or if there is a breeze at the job I'm doing. Mostly gates and fences. the 220 mig is for other things.
