Spiker Engineering Hood Struts installed. Super impressed how easy this was. Finally don't have to work around the factory hood prop anymore.

Also installed new accessory belts while at it. The old squeaky belts are now trail spares since I didn't have any before.

TC coil bucket gussets arrived as well as new bushings for my steering rack.

Only waiting on bump stops for the front and rock rings now. Going to order limit straps at a later date.

I guess this shindig starts rolling this weekend.

Looks good. What is the purpose of the bead rim. I would think that it would strengthen the outer lip and prevent bent rims. I had beed locks on my Zuk and they where a two beer job per rim. Don’t miss having to re torque each bolt twice

Yep. I bent the shit out of my current 15s. Looking to hopefully not have that happen this time around with these rims. Plus I think they look pretty neato.

Well I completely forgot I ordered these. :deadbanana:

After seeing all the positive reviews on them, I decided to try these out, and if I like them enough, I'll probably add them to rear eventually. Just need to find time to pull the front of my truck apart. Just waiting on my UCAs and 35s to show up now.
I just put these on the front and rear of my 3rd gen 4Runner, they definitely rock. Considering you're in California, I doubt you have rust issues, but I'd probably spray some PB Blaster or something similar on your stock front ones before tackling them just to be safe. I'm very new to the 4x4 world and any kind of wrenching, but mine took me a solid two hours for just the fronts. Those 21 year old stock bumps were stuck as hell.

That was my plan in the first place. I've dealt with stuck bolts and nuts enough that I hate them. *cough*cough*myrearuboltsthatistillneedtoordernewonesbuthavent*cough*

Starting to see some tearing on my rears, but I'm on my bumps a lot because shock tuning and it took me a few trips to get the right coils. Otherwise they've been great.

I'm definitely viewing them as a consumable. If I get a few years of hard use out of them, I'll be happy.
I've beat the hell out of them and they surprisingly held up very well considering they are still a rubber bump stop. My first set was one of the originals from the prototype stages of things. Those eventually wore out, but the second set seems to be doing overall really well even with lots of hard bottom outs from when my old shocks were blown out. Best thing about these is even if you happen to have any sort of issue, DuroBumps provides awesome customer service and will resolve any issues right away.

Definitely something that I've also heard. Good customer service is also something I value in a company. I'm hopeful that they last me long enough until I figure it's time to ditch the IFS.
