The lower link mount reinforcements are being manufactured right now - the first batch will ship out on the 26th.

These LLS (lower link skids) both reinforce the mount ears (which fold when wheeled, as you know) AND correct that terrible approach angle that the factory mounts were designed with.

3/16" folded plate, weld-on, of course.

Get in on it! $116 shipped.

(- put IDPOR in as a comment when you order and I'll kick back 5% on the first 10 orders)

Thank you. I just sent the order to you. These and the Metal Tech lowers I have sitting in the garage should do the trick.

I found out my passenger side is tweaked too. After the Claw Hammer experience of @theesotericone I am now looking at reinforcing my upper link mounts - especially since I am only using one side.

Maybe we know some one who could make a self aligning weld on re-enforcement for the uppers? lol

After Claw Hammer there's no way I'm running just one upper. I need to get that mount straight and run two. They will also be re-enforced.

quick update, guys - I had a meeting with my bend shop yesterday and wasn't satisfied with the first couple of parts, so I scrapped that stuff and I'm revising the file so that it can be bent more accurately. I sent an email out to you guys who have pre-ordered; hit me back on that when convenient.

I'm making the file revisions this weekend, so that they can hopefully roll right back into it Monday morning - but if not, it may be another 2-3 week delay before I can ship.

@eimkeith

Any chance you know the lower link bolt size and thread pitch? I lost the nut off my passenger side and need to replace it. I'm going wheeling today so I just forced the wrong nut size on last night. I also used a tiny bit of JB weld as backup. lol

So now I need to replace it and I will probably go 1/2" longer.

Thanks

Matt, I’m sorry - I was just at the shop and was going to measure that for you, then discovered that some lowlife had broken into two of my client’s race trailers. Totally forgot after the cops left.

I’m going back at 4 though, I’ll check then

People are such shitheads. Hopefully they have a record and left some prints behind. Any security cameras?

No rush on the bolt size. I just did 40 miles of wheeling and that JB weld is doing great. lol

Great stuff but have fun welding these things. Lots to weld but I imagine your frame will twist before these do.

same same. I need to get a die grinder with a few carbide burrs. Probably would make cleaning things up pretty easy.
My last weld job I used splatter spray. It made clean up much easier. Won't weld without it.
