Definitely looks like those shocks have a clicker on on bypass tube and what looks like one on a hard mounted resi. The remote resis look like one on compression side and one on rebound? Some fuckery going on there.

Hard to tell from a pic, but kinda looks like the spring rate of that pack might be a tad high for a Taco.

Yeah they have those as an option for bypasses. A lot easier than messing with a wrench and an allen wrench.

The whole idea with that resi is to get the shock fluid flowing/cycling to help dissipate the heat better. Kinda like a radiator where the fluid cycles, but the shock is doing the pumping instead of a water pump.

If I've done my gross vehicle weight math right those should be pretty spot on out of the box, but I can always pull a leaf or two if I need to dial it back. Of course it's going to be a little rough with an empty bed...

Today's adventure titled: "Oh fuck!" Or, "I guess I'm ordering another axle bearing." In which our hero is reminded not to press bearings by the wrong race.

Axle bearing and retaining ring press on together so there is no force across the bearing itself.

Thanks to @skatefreak282 for the assist with a running truck my new Deavers are at the shop and it's time to start building new shackle hangers and front mounts.

She also gets credit for the details on my new rear, which would have sucked in the details otherwise.
