i got 315s in today, Discount tire got them to me in 24hours. Which is very impressive. Better than amazon.

Discount has been great for me. They found me a 315 km2 (which is discontinued) in a random town near my route home from a 9 day trip. Every time I've blown a tire out it's been no questions asked. Well questions asked, but my local guys know I wheel my rig, and they honor the certificate every time regardless how I've blown a tire.

Until it stops rubbing.

Right, it doesnt rub for regular driving, I've already done the pinch weld, Agressive cmc, the only place it really rubs is right there on the fender liner. Hoping that's the extent. Honestly wanted to keep them. But if they gotta go It is what it is. But I deal with alot of bullshit weather, and want to protect the pinch weld from that

You could always try pushing your caster forward a little to help clear. What size tires?

This. I bashed mine as far as it will go for the most part. Sealed it up with black RTV, and just push my caster as far as I can to keep it off it.

Apparently my castor is as far as itll go. I'll try taking it to another alignment shop to see what they can do.

The tires are 315 75 16 cooper st maxx

Can anyone give me some advice on what to tell the shop? My caster is 3.7 on driver, and my passenger is 4.9, I kinda think they could adjust it more on the driver, but im not sure because i dont do alignments

Alignment is a balancing act. You have to get your caster, camber, and toe balanced or else you're going to destroy your tires. Caster isn't as important as camber and toe. Basically they pulled both tires as far forward (caster) as they could to keep everything else in else in spec. You'll likely have more rubbing issues on driver than passenger. Getting everything even is an art with high caster.

Exactly, I am having more issues on the drive side. both sides toe is set to 0.05, and camber left is set to 0.2 and right side is 0.0. I really do think the alignment is the best its gonna get.

Shit, also forgot to add I ordered Bora spacers (0.75) because someone said I still may rub on the shocks once I do the relocate in the rear, even with my 3.5 bs wheels. Biggest pain in the ass is Bora spacers are like a 60 day wait, which is trash for some wheel spacers in my opinion

That’s really surprising with 3.5” backspacing but I’ve never tried it so :noidea:

I asked someone with the same wheels, and 12 inch shocks, and he said he needed them on the 2nd gen. I figured I may as well order them just in case, since the wait is so long. Since I'm going 13 inch also, figured since my shocks are an inch longer I very well may need them for when I stuff. I honestly havent trimmed my rear fenders at all, and now I may have to lol.

See the pic with my 35s stuffed
