“Are you close....my arm is getting tired....come on...just tell me when you’re close I don’t want to get it on me or on the sheets...you said this would be quick...*starts texting in other hand*...my mom just texted me, you have a truck so you need to go pick up the dresser she just bought and bring it to her house...seriously, can you hurry this up?”

Fucking monsoons.

So has anyone tried using one of those curved foregrips? Seems vertical foregrips have fallen out of fashion and the new curved ones seem like an evolution of the magpul AFG

Thoughts?

The only reason for the vertical grip is because back in the day if the KAC RIS/RAS that was only like 7" long you quickly ran out of space for your support hand once you loaded it up with lights, lasers, etc..

Today with low profile modular handguards that are 13-16 inches long there is sufficient room to properly grip the handguard even after you have your lights/lasers mounted.

Today I prefer to use just a low profile hand stop on the bottom as an index point to always get a consistent grip with my support hand.

I have this on one of my rilfes along with a Juggernaut Tactical Hellfighter rear takedown button

It works but its not perfect.

The button makes flipping the safety kind of a pain.
You need to be careful when you pull the takedown pin all the way out because of that notch otherwise you may lose the detent pin that keeps the standard rear takedown in place.

But even with those issues i still think with a little practice its the fastest way to switch mags and still be compliant.
