Hopefully i soldered the seal collar correctly. Was clogged with solder and the reason the locker didn’t work.

Did you bench test it before you slapped it back on? Last time I ended up just buying the collar with copper line attached because the union kit I bought didn't work too well. I think it either pinched the copper or didn't seal correctly and I ended up with a fuck ton of gear oil in everything. Took awhile to clear things out.

Just now seeing this. I bench tested the collar multiple times. And fixed the bad one for a spare. It’s all back together now and works as it should ( or atleast chirps tires on the street).

Finally started on the drive over fenders and extending the deck on the trailer... been a lot more work than I thought but enjoying it. All the hard stuff is done. Frame is made and welded. Hopefully get the tubes capped and fenders plated tomorrow.

got the welder working good. Got impatient with some of the welds and it shows but really happy with how it came out 44DA333A-DEAF-47C1-ABF7-725821A67506.jpegE5D33279-6758-48CE-B94C-97B4DD9A5B98.jpeg9B3B203E-7A9F-4960-AB8D-5D1EBE2EB064.jpegA66A24B4-D77B-4900-82A2-22783A4181D0.jpegB9D578AD-85D2-4363-A5B9-2F1EB68ABA1F.jpeg14CC4F82-B6BE-4428-A7DD-F4E2DF7C2980.jpeg619BC3DD-DED9-40EF-A705-CBFCD3DB2CE5.jpeg340DBF20-46AE-4FD1-B989-47231E25DC20.jpegCBC76910-945C-4656-9777-C8EFD071A742.jpeg1D5A37FB-39DF-4409-B9BB-5AE5DABE23C6.jpegCAEA733D-174F-4453-BAA5-E8C13F24A314.jpegA09B8444-12ED-4C4B-B4B4-AF67936C5388.jpeg82C1BFA5-2A1D-4A52-A6E0-EB36B595888F.jpeg

I'm getting anxious to make a trailer for my truck. Drive over fenders is the way to go.
What sucks is the original deck is 82in wide. Truck is now 85 ish inches wide... I did all this work for really just an inch and half on each side... but what are you going to do. It was sketchy with tire hanging off the side driving down the road

Fun place to wheel. They need a better map or way of getting around. If you’ve never been there or don’t know exactly where a trail is you spend a lot of time driving around looking for it.
finally catching up on your thread, and then i seen this and made me happy. happy because im glad when i went with some friends, we ran into the same issue and thought it was just us being dumb lol

looks like it was a great time anyways though!!

We have the gps map on our phones with the trails and it’s still hard to get around because theirs trails going Every which way. We are getting better but it’s a big area.

Thanks. Was a good trip and on my way back from koh now. Didn’t bring the truck but still a run few days in the desert with my dad

ordered everything to swap in a gm master for stronger brakes and longer front lines since they are now all the sudden to short. also ordered some new bushings for the front and a steering box rebuild. trucks on hold. just had a side wall built for rv parking and to put the trailer in the backyard so need to the finish the gate before i tear the truck apart.
