Could remove it or just pretend it doesn’t exist. I’m hoping other manufacturers will follow suit once they realize there’s demand for something past 15” and better designs will hit the marketNot a huge fan of the integrated front site.
It basically means you can't mount anything up front if you want to be able to deploy it w/o having to remove what you have mounted.
Oh my! Cool stuff!! I have always wanted to build an AR platform weapon. Thanks for posting it up!More tactifool goodness (check out their gallery of shiny rifles)

That ass had me discombobulated. Edited to make sense now.

I think I’m over magpul stuff. It’s not magpul’s fault they made nice things but the laws in California are pretty fucked and our ARs are fucked because of it
Featureless is the way to go it seems. Never cared about flash hiders and vertical foregrips so that’s a non-issue. I usually put a collapsible (non thunbhole) stock in one position and only gets shortened in the case. This means a stock stop is a great solution. No one I know has a grenade/flare launcher on their AR (fucking anti-2A lawmakers are clueless). So that just leaves the pistol grip.
Back to the magpul thing: their PMAGs aren’t going anywhere. Their other stuff tho isn’t as attractive anymore. The grips aren’t featureless compatible. If I was going to go the break open route there are more comfortable grips out there. Their normal collapsible stocks require a stock stop and there are lots of alternatives here too. The UBR and PRS would need to be pinned. Like I really want to drill an extra hole in a $200 stock. No one I know uses their hand guards. Their bipod wiggles a lot. I’m not sure about their slings. There are plenty of competitors for backup sights, rail covers, even their BAD lever has a competitor now.
So I guess the industry has caught up to them and circumstances in this slave state have pushed me to look at alternatives
For those not in Cali you can ignore this.
For those in Cali we have discussed our "compliance" setups post Bullet Button Ban. Decided to make a video today.
I wanted to keep as much of the stand controls as possible.
- Juggernaut Tactical Hellfighter Kit. I only used the take down pin as I wanted to keep the standard mag catch.

It is. Requires drilling in the receiver. Also since it’s a break open you can’t use magazines with capacity larger than 10 rounds (currently)But is it legal.

I’ve contemplated going this route. If I hate the featureless grips then I’ll probably do this
That is impressive for being in a commie state! For those not in Cali you can ignore this.

If it wasn't legal I wouldn't have posted it.
The upper and lower is actually breaking open every so slightly to allow a pin to move out of the way that is blocking the mag release button.
In all reality if you have to resort to using your AR or a AK why the fuck is it going to matter if it's legal or not after the brass stops hitting the ground.
This is true but to transport it in this commi state to get some practice in , it needs to break awayIn all reality if you have to resort to using your AR or a AK why the fuck is it going to matter if it's legal or not after the brass stops hitting the ground.
