Also, If I can take the Monday-Wednesday off after, Russ and his wife are taking their 4runner and motor home down to sand hollow and logandale so if we wanna going meet up with them after, wouldn't be a bad option.

I'd invite you to come meet us in Death Valley that Mon-Weds, but our route isn't hard core enough for you.

Millennials, no respect for the history of California.

You mean the state that was once great, where people lost their lives trying to go to because it was the land of promise but now people are fleeing from this crumbling, bankrupt state. yeah, pretty easy to learn the lesson here. I think Rome is a great model to look at as well what the next few years looks like for California.

I was thinking more along the lines of the mining history. JT actually has a lot of native american sites hidden in the desert that you can't drive to. I'd like to spend some time backpacking and hiking around to try and find some of those.

Still waiting on Kyle to bail. Pretty sure the only reason he hasn't yet is he doesn't want to validate all the shit talking I've been doing for the last 3 or 4 months.

Also, someone should come over and put my rear diff back together, I've been lazy as shit the last couple weeks.

It's easy to be lazy when you have other vehicles. Gonna pull my sliders off and maybe do rear shocks tomorrow after I give the Jetta one more try before I light it on fire.

You better get that shit together soon. Nope, not bailing time off is already in the HR system. I can’t not show up for my own birthday weekend trip. My truck also needs to keep getting abused. Its sitting and collecting dust until Moab. Full front end has been preped. Found the driver side inner tie rod was already bent... wtf. I’ve only had the truck for 2 months now.

If I could get a new set of rear leaf springs before Moab, that would be prime.

Carrier is back in.... Fuck me what a pain in the ass. Don't have a case spreader and wanted to see how it had to be done in case I have to do it on the trail.....but seriously fuck that. Trying to get the carrier in with out moving the shims around took a couple tries. Waiting on some hardware to finish everything up. Oddly, one of the bearing keeper bolts was bent when I removed it and I can't torque it back down properly so that has to be replaced.

Also a couple bolts on my disk conversion that came preassembled got loose. One of them completely fell out somewhere, and the holes for the brackets got wallowed out a little. I was disturbingly close to my calipers hammering the bolts, breaking them off, and then flying off somewhere, leaving me with a loss of brakes......so I'm upgrading and replacing all the bolts that got loose and red loctiting them.
