    Tow Rigs

Gonna go with skinny 33’s instead of 35’s. Might go with some sort of an all terrain but I’ll likely stick with a decent truck tire. That’s how I already feel driving it lol Unfortunately not, it’s 2wd. It’s a great truck for most of the things I need a truck for in daily life. Drives nice and...

    Tow Rigs

So I did a thing. needs a little bit of work such as; remove the lift, new front tires (probably going to look for all new OEM replacement wheels and tires), fix the fuel gauge, fix drivers side windows. Now I gotta decide if I’m going to keep or sell the tundra.

That’s exactly what I told my wife and she laughed at me. I think those wheels look great for that truck.

Well the guy bailed on me earlier today to show the truck. He confirmed that he was available 30 minutes after the time we were supposed to meet, even though I texted him 4 hours prior... Well he said we can meet tomorrow morning. Hoping it works out since I really don't like vehicle shopping...

Yeah the filter will help keep a little bit of fumes from escaping as freely. I had a filter on mine but somehow I broke it off and never ended up replacing it. When I redo things, I'll add the filter back in.

Gonna go check this thing out tomorrow. I'd remove the hideous 6" lift and put it back to stock ride height and try to find some stock wheels to make it a grandpa truck. If I can talk him down a bit, It sounds like it'll be a solid tow rig until I upgrade in the future. Ain't trying to spend...

    LED Offroad Lighting Recommendations?

Same... We were hitting some washes this past weekend in the dark and I was definitely out driving my lights at about 45 mph. Time for something from the LP series. My buddy has some LP6's and those fuckers are bright. Considering getting some LP4's or LP6's; or maybe just getting another...

I think weight distribution really depends on purpose and balance. If you have too much weight in the rear of a rock crawler it won’t have much traction climbing ledges n shit. Too much weight in the front of a prerunner will be hard to keep the front end skipping across the top of things. I...

    LED Offroad Lighting Recommendations?

I bit the bullet on the Squadron Pro combo beam like @Itaro recommended. They are well worth the cost. I am happy with my purchase, and most of the cheap asses I know that have the same lights are very happy and impressed with the quality of the light. They are bright enough to handle most of...

I guess last I left off was about us building a bench. Well my pops recently passed back in September 2021, and since one of his favorite places to go was the BurnsBBQ, we decided to put his memorial up there. I think the reason he loved going up there so much is it was always a good time with...

Size is perfect. Plenty of handle length for a full, comfortable grip but the blade is perfect size for most needs for a blade. I’m gonna have to get used to this compression lock since I’m so used to the Axis Lock. Especially considering the compression lock is designed around right handed...

Will bed liner make the them super heavy? I’ve heard people doing bed liner on the inside before. Not sure I understand all the benefits. Seems like if they get hit hard they’ll crack anyways. Maybe I’m wrong.

Exactly my thoughts. I think this is potentially a great steppingstone before spending big bucks on a diesel. I expect I will need to spend at least $50,000 to get a decent diesel truck. And that’s just not in my budget right now.

Yeah, it's not ideal but I think it will handle what I need good enough to hold me over for a year or two. Diesels are just so damn expensive right now, and I don't want an older one that's going to require a ton of work just to get it to a decently running vehicle. Plus maintenance is...

The trailer has a shower, toilet, kitchen, AC and heat. Just doesn’t have built in beds or generator. I’d probably just do cots or fold down beds from the walls. I do want to build tool boxes under the flatbed for storage. I’m gonna message the seller now about the truck.

So my buddy offered to sell his 28’ race trailer to me. Kinda been wanting something similar for a long time and figured by the end of next year I’d be in a good position to buy one. Problem right now is my 05 tundra can’t tow shit. I need a 2500-3500 truck. I REALLY don’t want to spend big...

THATS RACIST lol I’m not gonna sit in the back of my office and wait for someone to get close enough to hit them with a bat when they might have some sketchy shit like a machete. I’d rather be able to protect myself from a distance and only shoot if necessary.

These homeless tweakers are getting getting worse and worse these days. Redlands has always had homeless, but this past couple years it has started to get very noticeable along the freeway. Which my office is right by the freeway so these homeless wander along the streets. I just went to check...
