Responsible Adult, and why I am not one.

Give him gloves and 2 minutes to try and get a K.O. before you can hit back? I like how you all parent, we need more of it.

Someone else posting! Hot damn! Congratulations on the spawn! My #2 is due to arrive in 6 weeks. SO stoked for a boy, too. @Stairgod said it well "the nectar of life"

No doubt. I went back to university last year and about to wrap it up... So pumped to have some life back to give to my family and this hobby that keeps me sane

Oh man, a light press fit is *chefs kiss* Kinda rushed, kinda don't care. Not sure why the pocket exists, functionally.... BUT I'm sure someone smarter than me made that decision Can't ask for a better fit, any more and it would just become a solid piece. Getting my groove back. The bug...

Second problem to address is the interface with the All-Pro Offroad ball-joint adapters. EMF joint has wrench flats and this doesn't sit into the recess of the adapter. Not a problem, just make up the space in the pocket.

Clean-up to get it back to perfect. No inclusions or porosity = win I'd pay someone to find the damage.... Rebuilding some UCA's for the Cruiser! I have some bits and bobs to replace the old and tired control arms

Working on un-screwing myself. I accidentally cut part of the EMF uniball when removing it from the 4Runner a couple of years ago... A little dab'll do

Another stellar Marketplace find... Just a couple hundred dollars and I couldn't pass this up. It took driving down to the urban sprawl, but the guy didn't know much of anything about it, but he suspected the cover was leaking form a crack. Not a huge deal, this will pair with the other 8"...

Time for big change. With another little one on the way I need to pair down.... that also means reducing any sort of budget for this hobby. Keeping things basic all around means that the depth of a new dash, interior panels, body work, and just generally a lot of getting the 4Runner up to snuff...

Back from blasting. Opted to get the Rogue Fab bender blasted so I can finish putting it together. It's about time I get off of my soap box and take care of all of the unfinished projects laying around. No excuse is enough

If this isn't somewhat telling... I am working on the 4Runner tear-down, and because of how the body work is going I simply couldnt bring myself to part ways with @eimkeith bumper. So, it will likely go onto the Land Cruiser Prado and I want to try to make it as easy as possible to transfer...

Amazon Prime days - Hurricane relief

Hey @eimkeith I'm glad to hear you are well first and foremost. I was up all night with the truck ready to haul my wife, my 2 year old, and mom out of the house and haul ass up the mountain to even higher ground. The hurricane was headed straight for us, but darted east and then swung back...

Things are essentially perfect. I know the crank is dead nuts and I have all new bearings. Time to commit to pulling the motor and getting this thing back on the road.

I managed to fixture the crank and gauge everything on the lathe. Runout is between .00056" and .00011"; its friggin str8. Checked the Main Journals and Rod Journals with a micrometer and everything measured well below Toyota's factory upper spec limit and almost nominal to the median. That...
