This guy is in my driveway now

My favorite is when I haven’t moved at all and the damn thing, whatever it is, can’t be found. WTF? I’ve done that with other tools when on a ladder... almost hate to admit that.

I thought that was the point, or at least one of them, for THE ENTIRE FORUM. :beerscheers:

Or enjoy the ride of wrenching... :headwall: but if you do... use FCPeuro as much as possible. Not affiliated, but they have a lifetime replacement on pretty much ALL parts. Even batteries and wiper blades. Yes, I've mentioned that before around these parts.

Fuck turning wrenches, I wanna go wheeling; Build and BS

I think you just do it when you hit a critical mass of smart ass.

Fuck turning wrenches, I wanna go wheeling; Build and BS

I think if you went down that road you’d have to pull the best from the forums to go on the shirts.

Can we have some t-shirts made up with that on it?

CB Antenna in Stock Antenna Location

Sorry I got a little fixated on this topic after this past weekend. My wife and I were heading to the mountains for some biking and she turned the radio on... the junk OEM power antenna 'punched out' and fully ejected from the vehicle (decided it was done apparently). Funny as fuck, but now I...

CB Antenna in Stock Antenna Location

Look forward to it. If nothing else post your parts list for now and we can likely wing the install issues (obviously lacking your 'lessons learned' first hand knowledge.) But it makes sense that it should work - in particular for standard CB performance. Jump to wanting more discrete SW or...

    Time to replace my alternator...

Looks like 28AH@20HR so 1.4A for 20hr. https://www.odysseybattery.com/Batteries/Model_PC925 And looking the PC1200 might be even a better call for the same basic size (which seems to fit nicely to the left of the 3rd Gen engine bay near the firewall)...

    Time to replace my alternator...

Yeah the cost is a rather large bite to take, but I also factor the power per cubic inch and (again as long as they stay in business) the lifetime replacement...

    Time to replace my alternator...

Alright, I figured this might be as good of a place for this 'tidbit' as any other. Typically, and as referenced above, there are a lot of electrical recommendations when one major component is touched. As we all know one ugrade seems to have a trickle-down effect too. SO, if you are looking...

Milestar Patagonia M/T - Anyone running these? Great reviews at a low price point.

First, I now have a few thousand miles on these Milestars (80/20 highway/off-road) and I love them. As others have mentioned for a mud-terrain they are super quiet and the tacky traction is remarkable. In the SE, we have a bit more wet, and though they can struggle just a tiny little on wet...

    CS144 Alternator Upgrade

Only because I thought this might be useful to some considering higher-output alternators. System sizing isn't a bad pre-step though we are all familiar with how borderline the stock ALT is on T4R. (Every so often I accidentally type T$R, and I always think to myself, "That's about right..."...
