Since I love cardboarding stuff and seeing how it'll go, that's a 40" circle, with 8" to the top of the wheel arch. Not as high as I thought. It's no higher than a modern 3/4 ton with a 4" lift. I'll probably end up 2" higher than this, but I can live with that. Tub some fender and I'll have...

It'll be a while, but between holidays, an income property, house renos, and this thing, I think it's still doable by winter. I wanted it done for August this year, but I no longer think that's realistic, with what I need to get done elsewhere. Upside, have a line on a complete '08 super...

    Where folks at???

The SOVA (Saskatchewan Offroad Vehicle Association) boys do some organized trips and events every year. I don't have anything that'll go out with them yet, but it's on my list. Down south is all in the coulees and creeks, and up north in the forest you've got lots of bedrock and pine forest...

Come to Saskatchewan! We've got garbage offroading for an area half the size of Texas, and amazing offroading for an area . . . Half the size of Texas. It's pretty alright.

Gonna slow down here again until I snag that chassis. Can't until the snow is gone and things are dry. But for now. . . Babys first crossmember mod. Sits very well. Ran out of gas and wire. Patch 1.2 will include a couple of "just because" gussets and a plate on the front side to close the...

Got back on track. Cooled myself down from the turbah talk and came down to earth. Let's be real. I'm just gonna buy a supercharger after a nasty overtime month and call it done. Found an 06 Super Duty rolling chassis. No steering box. A shame since I wanted that. 1200 bucks. I'll make back...

Chatting with a couple of friends who swear I won't have enough go with 400hp on 38-40" tires. Now, these people are enablers for certain. One owns a 6bt swapped '90 Suburban that's doing about 450, on 38s. And the other has built a few more hotrods out of shit that shouldn't be hotrodded than I...

New Business and some Group Buys

I was just looking up radiators. I wasn't expecting "Audi RS6 Avant" to pop up. I'll have a closer look through it. Babysitting piling crews this week.

New Business and some Group Buys

I saw the exhausts and radiators for lambos and Ferraris (what's the market on a fuckin Ferrari needing more cooling to go from trailer to parking stall, anyway?) and just Noped the fuck out of that website. Haha.

Y'all got any of them LS parts? Edit: Oh, shit, that's some shit for fuckin rich people. Ha

I'll be asking for it next time, by jaysis. I don't think I'll be making a huge amount on this, since most things are easily purchased, but when I have to. . Yeesh. It's in vinegar for the night. Mama had some 10% cleaning stuff I used. I'm sure I'll be popular until I show her the mount all...

Bought some steel for the trans mounts and other bracketry I may need here and there, and holy shit the mill scale is so thick on it I'm tempted to buy a pneumatic scaler.

Aaaaand the Cherokee rad won't work. Interferes with the rad support since I have to mount it up front, rather than behind, the rad support. Gotta find something 29.5W X 20H, or smaller. Shet. Oh well. Won't fuck with the rad fans until actually get the rad, for the sake of the shroud. Oh...

Well it's up there. More room than I expected. Solved one problem though, and found more, as always. Dipstick tube, oddly, wasn't one of them. I was really expecting that to be a bitch. Factory trans cross near works. A little bit of mount playing, with a U bracket and some cutting of that...

If I get it done before I'm 60, haha. Just about got the trans bolted up, woop. See if I can't re-use this Isuzu trans cross. Turns out a 6l80 isn't much different than a 4l30 in length. Might fluke er off. Work on the fan and rad mounting while I wait for a 32 long 205 input shaft from AA.

Or not. 1 6l80 and mp1222, 800. Sell the t case for 6-800. I'm always stunned at how huge these junk auto 4x4 t cases are. See if I can get this guy bolted up. And a 3,000cfm flexalite looks to fit against the rad support just lovely. Finally coming along now that I'm in town again.

I read this as "modification" and thought "we've got some pretty sweet shit going on in here" for a second before it clicked. Danny being more hands off is indeed nice.

Duke's 4runner and other vehicles build

Looks mostly like a swept area and venting upgrade. Won't stop any faster, unless the old calipers were single piston. Stopping distances are 75% tires. But it'll take longer to see brake fade, at least.
