I just realized your 2nd picture (in the first set of pics) is of the 2nd obstacle from 2 years ago. There's no first one anymore? You used to have to ride the wall and pivot off your slider to get around it.
We all fit in-between the wall and the rock without issue making the 2nd obstacle now the 1st obstacle

I get the vibe you are about as transparent as they come. Surprised the dude wants to play the mystery chic instead of just manning up about shit.

I've still got his fucking hot dog cooker sitting in the garage that he let me borrow for Death Valley last year. Think that was the last time I saw him in person.

Fucked if I know, he quit responding to my text messages back in April. @85straight still talks with him once in awhile. He made an account here but never confirmed the email.

Damn, that's a bummer.

So...you wouldn’t share your beer with this guy?

I've shared many beers with him, and would share many more if he'd quit being a little bitch and actually say what's up.

 Have and would again share beers with Miah.

We'll have to go to chilitown and send smoke signals to get him out there

I used to see Miah almost on the daily around town but he just complete dropped off almost. Saw him on Palm Dr. once like 3-4 months ago and that was like a rare siting.

I'd really like to get back out to Sandstone Canyon this season. Last time I was there with @85straight and we stopped couple miles in and camped right before a decently challenging looking obstacle. I didn't try it since I made camp instead. I wonder how much further back you can actually drive into that canyon. Anyone know?
Depends on conditions. A couple years ago there were 2 sections you had to get over and then it dead ended at a 3rd. The canyon flash floods and changes every year. I'll see if I can find some pictures of it later at home.

The first obstacle is complete gone, like flat as a table. Only thing left are tire marks 6’ of the ground on the canyon wall
After the last second obstacle the canyon gets narrower and narrower and eventually opens back up again. Some years the narrow section turns into a gnarly v notch, other years it’s filled in with sand. You would know if you followed me over it @AssBurns :boink:

We'll have to caravan to his house on the way there, I've got his address. haha.

I talk to him pretty often, he’s been on a serious hustle with his workload. No time for anything especially getting back to @4runner DOA hahahah

We wheeled in calico while you guys were playing big spoon little spoon in San G. Got his 4th gen fixed and rebuilt his 3rd gen. Rumor has it he might be getting a 4wd to show you how it’s done lol
