2nd Gen Bobbed Bed? Who's done it?

Bobbed beds are the shit, especially on these trail limos you guys wheel. Personally though I wouldn’t unless you plan to 4link the rear so you can bring that bed waaay back and not have to worry about the spring perches determining how far you can go. But then like tetten said might as well have a custom bed with the fuel cell in it to make room for the links. Just my .02

Read through the thread for that bobbing, goddamn what a lot of work....and it looks like the back end would crack, break, and fall off driving through the desert, I wouldn't have any confidence that thing would hold on anything other than pavement and crawling trails.

How did you "weld" the composite bed back together?

Yes, this will wait until I 4-link the rear. Gotta put a fuel cell and shock towers back there. I want to keep the bed for camping/hunting and not completely back half the truck.
