Got the manifold tacked up, but I'm trying to remake the runner closest to the front of the engine lower. The turbo compressor outlet has the silicone elbow and that sucker might melt. Ordered up a cast weld elbow to help with the possible rubber melting issue. I'll get some up close manifold pics next week. It's starting to look pretty nice.
LOL, my start ups are boring. It usually fires up and idles perfectly. It's those first pulls around the neighborhood is scary when it comes to tuning. Just hope my muffler is going to be quiet enough where I dont get the cops called on me.
That’s from when we all were parked at the campground.Such a great weekend except for having to pack up and leave early Saturday since the rain storm.I’d actually like to try and go this yr.

That was a good trip. It was scary for me because the truck was down for 6 months and the drive out to the desert was my test run. Hopefully this fall I'll be dialed in. Pretty much everything on my truck is new by the time I nail all this stuff down.
Man I wish I knew how to tig. Manifold pretty much done. I learned a lot doing this. Relocated the wastegate and redid the runner closest to the front. This mild steel plumbing pipe does not weld well. Likes to make a lot of slag even with good grinding. Had my elbow welded to the turbo.
Driver side I needed a fricken strap to bend my fender out. Had to cut out my inner wheel lip to get these things to follow the body work. Well 4 mounts per side. Pretty difficult fenders to work with.

I noticed, they're pretty solid. Gonna order some paint and respray them a bit before I mount them. Curious though, if you remember, which green is your truck? I think there are 2 different ones for 1st gens
Got some help from @4runner DOA to help cycle my suspension for the glass. Baby cut needed at wheel turned. Also coil overs are now 500/600 springs too. Core support finally wrapped up.
Turbo work, carrier bearing and front bumper and we are set. Bit of small preventative maintenance to do. Slow and bit unmotivated as I go along.
Another episode of angle grinder fab. Got the intake and intercooler figured out. Also new upper radiator hose and radiator shroud. Some of the parts are the old parts. I'm going to put the new ones in. Just need to make the exhaust and the truck can start up finally. New front prerunner bumper going in at the very end.
Nah, would of sold it and bought a v6 truck and kept it boring. My car is turbocharged from the factory. I bolted on an aftermarket turbo. Makes an additional 60 hp and 80ft-lb tq. About as crazy I go with my dd.
