I fucking loved every post of this.

Prerunners are getting popular here in the Flatlands. Seeing more of them built makes me happy.

Exhaust is done! Besides those tac welds. It looks pretty wild in person. Just can't get in there with the camera. Get to break it all down for some heat wrap and final assembly. Truck might actually start up next week.

Will it be ready by early November? If so, come to Ocotillo the 8-10th for our annual guys trip. People bring bikes, trucks and RZR’s.

Good chance it would be ready. I’ll keep that date in mind. Ocotillo Wells is nice and friendly on my truck.

Because NASA. Pretty this thing going to send a rod through the block. Just wanted to check that it all bolts up cleanly. Started jamming it in the truck today. Ran into a bit of an oil line issue. Start-up maybe next weekend.

Made a new bumper. Almost done with it. Just need to do a few more tubes, off road lights, blinkers, and skids. Put a light coat of paint for the rain this week. Almost ready for January wheeling adventures. I used ratchet straps to balance the main horizontal tube.

New turbo hits 10 psi around 3500 rpms with no commanded wastegate. Going safe for this weekend at superstition. Few more pulls during the week and I'll be ready. Still haven't pulled to redline yet.

It's been awhile since you updated. Good to see that you have been tinkering in secret.

Been playing with the truck as time allows. Few hours a weekend. I’ll snap a pic Tomorrow of how it looks with everything bolted down. Little hard to update with all the small stuff like fine adjustments.

It's intricate work and it's coming out good. Then again you are the resident NASA guy. Looking forward to the pics.

If that’s a Prerunner, what comes after it? A Runner? And then a 4Runner three times after that? I’ve seen the term, it don’t know what it means.

I believe prerunner means that it is an off road capable truck that pre-runs a race course before a race. It still has AC, heat, radio, a bit of a bed, and all of the basic creature comforts.
