I'm sure I can find a line or two that I shouldn't do. I'll be trashing as many rock stacks as I can while we're doing it too.

Rad! Saves me having to avoid them.

Was up there last weekend. Ran GM solo, was easy as hell, not too many stacks. Lot of traffic

Also ran some of WM downhill, Miah was with me.
Then the knuckle of the lbj sheared in half and he rigged it with some ratchet straps and drove 10 mph all the way home. Fuckin epic haha

Oooof! Where's the fucking :turtle: emoji

Surprised there weren't stacks out there. Saw the dirtbaglanders and redhead jess were out there not long ago.

I may need to back out of gold run and do something easier. My cuz doesnt have bumpers on his 4runner and im not gonna hear the crying if it gets scratched
Chris is scared to scratch his 4runner? We busted out a damn window on his truck in the middle of JT but he can't scratch a bumper. What happened to him after he moved?

How much do you freakin work? and how much do you need to pack? Tent, sleeping bag, beer, uncrustables and hot dogs. Done.

Lol just a lot going on leading up. I pack a bit more than that. I'm a princess. Should only need 2 hours to pack. Just haven't started. Bugs me when I don't get an early start to packing

Let me know. I would be down for that.

For sure. Depends what time we manage to get out of town and what traffic is starting to look like. I doubt the rangers would care too much if we set up shop a little early as long as the site is open but you never know. I'd rather unload the rig before running Gold on Friday if I can help it.

What route are you looking to take?

I'd have to look at the maps because I've never taken dirt from one side to the other but likely 3n16 across starting at Green valley lake if that's the route I take and we have time, stop for lunch along the way. Really depends when we can leave Anaheim. It's roughly 2 hours to San G straight, and it's 1 1/2 hours to green valley lake, but another 1-2 hours across dirt with lunch I'd wager.

Out of curiosity I looked at the route from crab flats, big pine, 3n54 (where we stopped for lunch way back when), and then to gold mountain. That’s a pretty good trek

3n54 is the best lunch spot. Just don't put your phone on a rock. Haha.

It is. 45 mins or so to the lunch spot once we hit dirt. I haven't been down 3n16 past that point so it's either a good high speed run avoiding pavement and twisty road or it's a slow dirt run because there's too much traffic..

On my second trip up there (solo) I continued on only a little bit and headed south eventually ending up in fawnskin

And I found @Nicklovin in the process
