5th Gen T4R Total Chaos +2" LT - Heims or Bushings?

Heims for the lcas. So when you align it there isn’t any binding bushings. Camburg is coming out with a +2 kit that uses oem spec coilover btw. It’ll add some leverage to the shock but the kit also has a bumpstop slapper arm as an add on.

Cool I’ll have to check that out. Total Chaos didn’t have any option for heimed / uniball lowers. I admit I’m a bit partial to Total Chaos but this is a new build and I’m open to options and expanding my horizons lol

I love TC stuff. But since Toyota’s align via the lca I really like the camburg argument for not using bushings.

I sold that Tacoma - working on a ‘19 4Runner build now. Just checked JD’s site - nothing for 5th gens yet.

Camburg has the kit on their site as coming soon. “Trail series LT” or something like that. Different from their existing kits

Heimed uppers, solid mount lowers; and never look back.

The uniballs for the spindle will wear out and make noise long before the heims do. Since the UCA isn't loaded that hard most of the time (it's stabilizing, not weight bearing) the joints don't squeak as bad, just click and clack as they wear.
