I pulled the heads off the 3.4l I bought they look ok. I can still rebuild it. Flipped it over to pull the pan and heard marbles. Found this....View attachment 6451View attachment 6452View attachment 6453View attachment 6454

Got the dual cases almost done. Just need to bend my one shifter and fill it with old and hope it doesn't leak. Also got the R151F trans off my spare runner. View attachment 7070View attachment 7071View attachment 7072View attachment 7073View attachment 7074View attachment 7075
Wait... theres an oil slinger in the crawlbox? I never saw that in any of the shit I read. I was wondering about it though.
Whoops never mind. I was thinking of something else. Yeah I have mine. Now do i need one on the crawl box and the other case?
I'm out of my league.....putting 5.29s in the front for now. In a few weeks when I save enough I'll put 5.29s in the rear. Just wont be able to use 4wd until then.
I'm pretty handy with most things mechanical but I just let ECGS do mine. Could I have done it? Probably. The cost of getting the tools and then taking hours to install it wasn't worth it to me. Plus they where nice enough to have a 5 year warranty on it. You'll get it dialed but keep ECGS in mind for the rear. lol
You can just have it leak air all the time and get replacements sent every few monthsSame thing I've told a couple other guys. You could have it done locally, but will you get a 5 year warranty? Speaking of, I need to blow mine out soon. I only have like 2 1/2 years left.

Are you planning to use the R151? Don't forget that it needs a 23 spline transfer case input behind it, not the 21 spline that the g and w transmissions get. Love the project. Keep up the good work.
my arbs in my Tacoma the front ecgs did no issues. The rear I had a local guy do. And 2yr later it started leaking. The copper line had broke right at the ring it goes into. You can just have it leak air all the time and get replacements sent every few months
