I recently got a new scan tool that plays with the ABS. I wonder if I can turn it off with it? I know that I was cycling the ABS pump and solenoids with it. I will have to check that tomorrow.
So it was a no go. It will momentarily shot it off for test purposes but it is 5 seconds.

I messed up my system doing the test and tripped 5 codes sitting still. The ABS light was flashing and the codes wouldn't clear. Finally I messed with each sensor and relay individually and then was able to clear the codes.

Bro I was going to comment on this yesterday that today there would be a new thread “ how I fucked up my abs and other sensors doing dumb shit”. Glad you figured it out in the end.

Don’t do that shit again.

If it’s like my 5G, push and hold the TCS button. I’m pretty sure that takes care of it.
In my Taco it turns it off for the most part. But when doing doughnuts or hard turns in the dirt it still kicks in a bit. Not like when it's on but it still has a small amount of function.
Not tell I did the mod the abs always kicked in at some point

I just ditched the whole ABS system in its entirety. Got some brake lines from a non ABS rig and added a wilwood proportioning valve to make sure rear brake bias wasn’t too high.

I would do that for a trail dedicated rig but it's my primary driver when I'm not driving the company car on the daily

Not that there’s enough power to have fun anyways lol

Says who? My 4.0 has plenty of power to have fun. Now whether your drivetrain and shocks are up to the task is another story. I'm dying to get out in dirt with the new set up but I need to make the effort to finish getting my parts.

I meant doing donuts and drifting it around. Needs mo powaaaaaa. Once it gets up to speed it does great for stock kings.
