Dialing in the red dot figuring out the aim point at 100 yards with a 50/200 zero. All in all two decent groups considering no zoom and a 7 inch circle at 100 yards.

At 200 it's point and shoot to ping the 8 inch steel target.

Just waiting on aero to restock their M4E1 pistol lowers and 10.5 inch uppers. It seems to be a race to see which comes in the slowest my can or aero inventory

What are your guys' thoughts on extended mag releases? Worthwhile or gimmicky? I need a new mag release since I still have that dumb bullet button from when I got the gun.

I don’t see the need for it unless you have issues using a standard one

I got the magpul one just because it was in stock.
Is it necessary, No
Is there a downside. Not really.

Yeah I never really felt the need, but I've also never used one either. Sometimes you don't realize there is something better out there if you never tried it. (insert gay joke here)
I think I'll skip the extended release. I haven't felt a need and just seems like a way to increase the chances of accidentally dropping a mag when you take your finger off the trigger.

I wouldn’t be concerned with a accidental mag drop from it either. The amount of force/travel required is enough to prevent your finger from doing that unintentionally. You’d have to be quite ham handed to do that

Not gonna lie. I've done it already lol. Maybe my spring is too light. Not something I'd want to happen in a high stress situation...
