Depending on price, yellow ain't so bad. Maybe it'll grow on you over time.

I had a feeling things were going to take longer than I expected, but definitely didn't think it would take this long. Life happens and timelines extend longer than expected. Also the build has gone further down the rabbit hole slowly, as my budget continues to grow.
Yep, you can order new covers. No idea the cost, but that's one of the great things about these seats, everything can be replaced as they wear out.Worst case scenario: call em up and see if you can get different covers
Looks like we both will be running the PRP Podium Elite seats.
They comfy? my cousin runs PRP in his UTV and they are a little brutal when swanging around tight corners. Slamming helmets into sides of the seat is rough with minimal give. Obviously seat styles we are talking about is Vienna sausage to spaghetti O's. Ones gunna fuck the other up. Overall though for offroading and riding out to the trail they are comfy enough?
I haven't ran them yet so can't comment for sure. From what I've heard is that they are very comfy and really keep you secure in your seat since they are pretty deep and kind of tight in the hip area. For some folks that is a real turn off, but I think if you are going to be slamming into corners, you want to fit like a glove rather than be sliding around and slamming into the sides.

^^ That part is what get's me every time.
The ones I picked up have the 16"base, which fits my hips nicely so I don't think i'd b sliding around, sat in an 18" based which i would definitely be moving around in, and unlike @AssBurns i do not plan on jumping my rig nor wearing a helmet (not much left in there after my 1st TBI). Only concern is loosing the ability recline during the longer trips cross county but that shouldn't b much of one because how often do u really move that shit around after one finds the sweet spot
@AssBurns Dam I though u said they where the best thing since rounds wheels vs the old square design, that's half the reason I went ahead and got them... j/j. I already have someone that wants to buy them off me if i don't like how they ride.

Yep!! Steven failed hard!!!! I thought that would motivate this man for sure but clearly, he don't give a shit and likes playing with his stock 4runner.
lol it's hardly me that is holding things up. I may have been able to make things happen if I got my truck back from the motor swap, but I only have so much control over other folks schedules. Let's try for Sept 2022 lol

I think solo motorsports has brackets for prp seats.
PRP has some for the 1st gen Tacoma, wondering if he got these and if so if he likes how the seats sit, with the style of seat we both have the way the shoulder area flares out it looks like the seat need to be moved off center and deeper to the center of the 4runner or the hit on the outside edge of said. Not sure if the PRP mount C31 works with all the diff styles of seats PRP has...

I made my own brackets off the sliders.
Not 100% sure but I’m leaning towards fixed mounting point off some roll cage tubes. I may decide on adjustable when I finally get to that point, but as of now it’ll be fixed I think.

No roll cage for me to connect to, unless I change my mind... I reused the OEM seat tracks and came up with this work in progress, works the same as any normal 3rd gen, defiantly had to push the seats toward the center to clear the shoulder rest on the PRP seats (U can in pic how close the seat is to the B pillar and I still need to but the trim on) but think I can still use the OEM center if I want.
Got the notification that my coilovers and bump stops have shipped. Still waiting for the bypasses to get built and shipped. So much for the 8-12 weeks initially quoted. Almost 17 weeks later and bypasses are still waiting for supply chain issues to sort themselves out. I figure this stuff will get worse before it gets better. Luckily I'm not in a huge rush, but it would be nice to have them in hand.
Pretty cool getting one more piece of the puzzle. So many more pieces left at this point. My wife asked if these were the last parts I need to buy. I was telling her all the other pieces of the puzzle I still need and she isn’t happy lol

It really doesn’t end but I hope most of the big stuff is done this year. Next big stuff is front LT, hubs, & RCV axles. Then full float rear end. Then steering… then idk lol
