Just got the truck aligned - pretty darn close to where I had the cams marked off.

In chatting with the alignment tech he was saying he hates polyurethane bushings compared to natural rubber because they don’t spring back to shape and constantly bind and the toe tends to “float”. I lubed the shit out of the bushing face and the inside of the bushing / outside of the sleeve as per Total Chaos’s instructions and I don’t think anything is binding at least right now.

I’m sure there are tons of people here running polyurethane bushings on their aftermarket arms or even just replacements in the stock arms.

Do you guys find it difficult to keep things aligned right with poly bushings?

Nope. Poly > Rubber for sure.

Something that could be causing alignment issues (if that is an issue you are having), is your alignment cams are moving. A couple things you should do is the Total Chaos cam tabs, and paint mark the cams so that you can see if they move on you.

Yeah I have the cams marked so I should be able to tell if something goes out of whack. I have the Marlin Crawler LCA supports sitting in a box in my office but it'll be a bit before I get those installed. The tech said my toe was like an inch out from where it should be but the alignment cams don't look like they moved much if any from where I had set them to where the tech has them set.

Is toe controlled up at the steering rod ends or in conjunction with the cams?

I've never heard that before, like @AssBurns mentioned check your cam tabs and make sure they re-tightened your alignment bolts when you get it back (i've found them loose after an alignment before). They only prob i've had is finding someone we can actually do +3* castor.
