Cool - probably have to pass on this one with that appointment I need to make but we'll get out another time. Get some dirt on that new rig!
What did you get? The last thing I heard from you was that your rear shock had a leak. How did that turn into a new truck.
Cheaper to get a new truck than to get an Icon rebuilt.

I think he said that was the 2nd or 3rd time that shock has leaked so definitely time for a new truck lol
I think he also said his second gen had given him some issues
211k on my 06. Biggest problem it's had is I've changed the battery 2 times in the 6 years I've owned it.
Second gen always gonna be the best gen

The shock was completely fucked and never figured out why, plus I found out the front diff was leaking from some where. I was really looking at the Tundra, wanted the more room and V8 but after driving that beast felt the Tacoma was better for trails and daily. After selling the BMW I had some money to burn too and maybe mid-life crisis.

I have to admit I like some of the tech that comes on this thing. Never thought I would but I am enjoying it. I have a new canvas to start with! Sliders already on order from Avid Off Road!

Front diff leaking was probably just an axle seal.
Love my 2nd gen. First vehicle I bought spanking new. Now it needs a paint job and some body work, but I'll drive it until the motor blows up.
