Who has done the tundra brake up grade to their 3rd gen runner or taco I guess? Looking at a few different brands as far as calipers go. Anyone tried some they either recommend or that were garbage? I dont really trust reviews on these websites to go off of.

From what I've read before, there are 2 styles. One has a machine surface where the banjo bolt seals. The other has a non machined surface where a short steel line screws into.

not a retrofit, but I swapped my factory 13WL calipers with Wagner 13WL rebuilt calipers from rockauto to troubleshoot a brake issue. Neither was the problem and I never swapped them back.

Like @Dan H says mine were set up for hard lines into the calipers. I converted them to banjo by cleaning up the casting's seal face with a file. Never leaked a drop in the last 5 years.

Yeah I have read you want the one with the banjo bolt. It's what I'm leaning towards.

Nice. That's what I'm leaning towards. I need new brakes as I'm getting a violent shutter at anything over 30 mph and trying to stop. So figure why not just convert now.
