Yeah I was searching around over there too. Thanks homie. You replace it yourself? Looks straight forward till the reassemble part. Not difficult just got to be correct while assembling

yep, marked the shaft and flanges prior to pulling everything apart to ensure everything went back together in phase.

U joint press and a two jaw puller were key to making it easy. I actually took the arms off the puller and used the central bit to pull the yoke And it worked like a charm.

Yeah looks easy enough. That's my fun project Tuesday after parts show up. I wish my wife would stop beating up the drive shaft on the taco and start beating up my drive shaft in her taco....giggity

Sweet - I was leaning towards a front e-locker instead of air myself. I'll stay tuned for some trip reports once you've run the e-locker for a while. Interested to hear your thoughts on how much of a difference it makes getting out of or through some stuff.

:beerscheers:
I have driven with a front locker on Jeeps before and it really helped in critical situations. With the independent front suspension, you have to be extremely mindful of using the locker. Now with my Fully loaded camping truck, the front locker will be critical and reduce my winching in the past. I need to get the break-in miles done and the diff oil changed before the next serious wheeling. I have half the breaking requirements done, should get the rest the next week and I'm going to find some dirt roads to run the front locker to break it in without a load going straight. i also have to get a spare CV axle and pack up the tools to change it in case I pop something while using it.

Yeah Bronco/Jeep friends on 37"/35" all have front/rear lockers and I haven't been able to join them in the past except as spotter/camera guy. hoping to get out on at least a few ones with my 33" tires and lockers and no sway bar. I recently ran with them to Peck Canyon as a passenger. Great time hope you enjoy the video. there were 3 bypasses for the really rough stuff for my taco next time but they all crawled over everything.

Hey bros (and swifty girls), I need some help. I need a truck and driver to volunteer to drive me around Lake Pleasant to Crown King on March 28th for an Ultra run. My company is doing medical for it and two things have effected our support this year. 1) I sold my truck *crying* 2) Our normal volunteer from the 4x4 club isn't returning our calls. I can promise a tank of gas, food, and drink.

Our only requirement is 4 doors (ish) incase we need to transport someone off the trail. I have all my medical gear (just a bag and backboard) and a ham-in-a-can radio. Just need you to want to offload for a day and help other people. PM if interested.

Please and thank you.
Otherwise, fuck off.

That's awesome. I'd do it in a heartbeat if I was local.

How long is your backboard? My camper top doesn't have window from cab to the back so no one would be transported in the 5 foot bed of my truck. I do have a 4 door taco.

I have the usual shower, 10x10 ezup, camper opens up to a double bed when not moving, and I'm a photographer

The back way to crown king? Let me check my schedule. Although all I have is the runner or the taco.

Quit complaining about the casting couch photos I shot for your portfolio

Wasn't high def enough. Do better next time.

We need a photography thread, and I need to start using my camera again. Although my pixel 4 camera is pretty badass. :anon:

Next year tax return I'm upgrading my 7d. I'm waaaaaaay fucking overdue.
