Battery that can handle the abuse

So I’m in the market for a new battery. I’m looking for something that can handle the extra load of all the accessories I addded plus the abuse we put them through. Anyone have any suggestions where I should start. I attached a Screen shot of a list I found online A9D1D1F9-4194-4099-A53B-334353B46BBA.png

While my yellow top has withstood the abuse of wheeling I had a dead cell after 15 months and had to get it replaced under warranty. Mind you this is my starting battery and that 90% of my accessories are attached to my house battery so it doesn't see the draw that a single battery setup would see. I was told by Autozone that they've had a lot of yellow tops replaced under warranty under the last few years.

I've been wondering if a gel battery would withstand the abuse better than a lead acid battery since technically the water in the lead acid batteries would be getting "shaken" up inside the cells off road. I haven't looked into how the gel batteries function to create electricity and I'm far from being an engineer.

I just picked up an Odyssey PC1500T after a lot of research. 880cca and 135 minute reserve. Plus it's absorbed glass mat. No complains but it doesn't have a lot of hours on it yet. We'll see how it handles wincing but I'm not worried.

That's another thing I think a lot of us don't take into consideration. Winching. I've got a 240a alt and dual batteries so I just connect the batteries when the winch is out and at idle in neutral I notice almost no power drain.

What’s the price point on that battery ... it’s the best recommend one I’ve found so far

I picked up an Odyssey and an Artec Battery Box for the Buggy, but zero hours on it so far.

Tow Pig got an X2 a couple months ago when the stock original died just shy of 3 years.

I did a ton of research and it's the best on market, IMO. Anywhere you look that thing gets 4.5 stars or more. It retails for $300 but I picked one up new from Big A for $245.

I’ve got the Optima Yellow Top and it’s been fine the last 6 months.

Buddies got the Odyssey and it’s pretty sweet.

If I did it over again , I would get the Odyssey as it’s got amazing reviews !!!

I run a North Star. Forget the story but it's basically an Odyessy. It's not a starting battery but easily sees "polar vortex" cold starts 15 or 20 days a year and doesn't complain. Think I'm 5 years in on it now. Definitely doesn't have the jam it did new, but starts my truck daily.

Haven't killed it winching for longer than I should... which happens more often than I'd like to admit. Also runs a fridge 24/7 in my truck because I like car camping and cold beer, or in this season not exploded, frozen, empty cans.

I have the Odyssey PC1500t Group 34 battery and I have no complaints whatsoever. Just make sure you get the little spacer block that's made to convert from group 24 to 34. I only have a single battery setup and I have everything hooked up to it. Never had a problem with winching or jump starting anyone.
