Not sure what roof rack to go with. Right now I just have some shitty Amazon special roof basket but am looking to go full sized. Looking for something reasonably priced and decent quality. Any suggestions?

Note: Looking for something I can eventually mount a rooftop tent and other bs on)

What do you consider reasonably priced for a full-size rack? If you want a Prinsu or Rocky MTN rack are between $675-$900 and the ones that you can get significantly cheaper and add extensions like a Curt or Rola Rack aren’t going to hold a RTT.

I really love my RMR matterhorn. I dont really carry a lot of weight on it but I know plenty of people use it for RTTs and have no problems. I think either this or the prinsu would be a solid setup, between the two its honestly just personal preference and mybe cost if thats really important to you.

The only main differences that are good to note are that the Prinsu bolts directly to the roof using the factory holes, rather than the factory rack. Prinsu has more cross bars. And the cross bars are milled out so you can slide a t-bolt in without removing the cross bar. Otherwise, you're right. I like the look of both

My cross bars aren't milled out to slide t-bolts in. I don't think. I'll have to look but I'm pretty sure I've always had to pop one side up. Might be something new that CBI started doing, mine is an original Prinsu.

Could be. Easy to miss too if you install them upside down
