Same one I just posted. Later on in the thread he says he uses Koyo bearings.
The bearings aren’t necessarily any concern. It’s the small stub shaft and small locking hubs probably won’t be strong enough for the abuse I’d like to put them through.

What does the stub shaft look like that fits in to that dana 60 hub.

Steering angle on Dana 60 shafts is 37 degrees per ECGS
RCV can handle about 45°, right?

Steering degree= Travel misalignment on IFS
Also this is not quite correct. Only the outer CV requires steeering angle, whereas the inner CV does not. Inner CV's change how much of an angle they can handle depending on plunge. Check out these charts. Good info. I wonder if RCV can get us a chart like this for their Double Offset Inner Joints. Seems like 45* is pretty standard for an outer CV, but it's much less for an inner CV that only see's travel misalignment.

Here is one of the two I found. I would not want to run this setup. All it does is press the hub from a manual hub 1st gen tacoma into a 2nd gen, so it still using the weak outer stub shaft. @rkntoy and some others have broken that shaft already. Plus it requires custom CV's (RCV might be an option here depending on patents), plus the custom unit bearing from a no name manufacturer is pretty underwelming.

Yup!

Funny thing, heard it break and stopped to check. 4wd still worked so I finished Hell's Revenge and even drove it back to Oregon.

Uppers on mine are about 6-1/4"
Lowers are like 9-1/5"

These are just rough measurements though

Yep so 4th gen stuff wouldn't work anyway without a lot of work..
Not worth it IMO anyways. I watched you break two CV's relatively easy. No way those CV's would hold up to major abuse. And again, if going RCV's anyways, might as well go full beef to pair with a super strong tundra differential.

Granted those CVs were already used, abused, and rebooted once. They may have already had stress cracks on them.

Thats good info guys thanks. and I agree that there is to much work to make them work. Conor just needs to get his LT into production, and combine with RCV's

For sure. The steering rack and spindles would be the biggest issue as well as the lca and uca. I mean you could probably get that 4th gen diff to work, but it's probably not worth it. If I had the cash I'd buy it off you and get it set up for a spare. Hahaha

I bought it for my wife's 03 V8, it's a 3:90 and would have put her Runner back to almost the right ratio. But I have a matching full axle from under a FJ Cruiser that has an E-Locker that was going to go in the rear. But Alas we sold it because she wanted something with a 3rd row. So we got a 94 Fzj80 which was awesome but then after a while we sold it and got her a Lexus ES350 which we have had for less than a year and last night my wife told me she was stuck in traffic yesterday and she could have escaped by driving over a curb but couldn't because she was in a Car. So the Lexus is going up for sale and we will find another 4x4 for her. LOL . I love my wife.
