Those are probably strong Enough you could bump off the upper, which would be ideal. Gusseted spindle, not so much. If you aren’t gonna bump off the upper, I see no point. But overlanders will buy them for sure
He’s still most likely the 1% that need a fabbed spindle haha. Depends on how hard you’re beating your truck. Doing something you shouldn’t be vs. bad luck. A gusseted spindle won’t fail out of the blue hahaWe've seen a couple instances of failed spindles after gussets. @Tetten was one of them. I'm assuming these would eliminate that problem since you aren't heating up the stock spindle for the gussets.
Those things look more than what my junk is worth.
I'd rather have my gussetted spindles over something that may be bombproof, who knows what might be next in line to fail under there..
Definitely in that range. Been waiting for someone to finally do this. They are probably right in line with their other spindles. Probably going for 1000.
I'm amazed when you bent that gusseted spindle in DV that you didn't destroy anything else.I'd rather have my gussetted spindles over something that may be bombproof, who knows what might be next in line to fail under there..

$1000 would be a gift. More like $1,500-$2kThey are probably right in line with their other spindles. Probably going for 1000.
Nah, I'd rather have plenty of other things fail over a snapped spindle at high speeds. Plus the ability to bump off of the spindle/ UCA joint would be super badass.I'd rather have my gussetted spindles over something that may be bombproof, who knows what might be next in line to fail under there..
Why would we call them anything else?why do we call these spindles? so weird.
Look like MIG welds. So most likely not 4130.1500-2k better be 4130. They have a cnc in house that helps with making those nice parts. You're in long travel territory once you have build upper, lowers and spindle. Time to gusset your frame. Coil bucket bends. Lower mounts crack and bend. Eat through a few steering racks. Frame begins to bend and crack. It's fun stuff. Eventually the truck is so built it is boring and you sell it to start over.
