So I'm ready to pull the trigger on knuckles for the Rodeo. Browsing my options. There's obviously Reid as the go to name, but fuck it'll be close to 700CAD for two. Which is insane.

Among the options is a company called Harsh Terrain, who sell a very reasonably priced set of knuckles which are made of steel.

Now, my question is, knuckles are made of cast iron usually, correct? Hard, resistant to deformation up to the point of breaking, etc.

Are there any negatives to going to a steel knuckle? Is it too ductile?

Edit: upon research, D60 knuckles are cast steel. So I'm ok with this.
