Now to the fun stuff.

- 315/75r16 MTRs - ordered
- 16x8 Vision Steelies - shipped
- BORA Wheel Spacers - shipped
- Icon UCAs - ordered
- Spiker Engineering Hoodstruts - ordered
- Eimkeith LCAR/STR - ordered
- Total Chaos Spindle Gussets/LCA Cam Tab Gussets - shipped
- Total Metal Innovations Rock Rings - ordered
- Airsoft BBs - delivered

I'm also going to be ordering Tundra Brakes, new LCA bushings, DuroBumps for the front, and maybe Alignment Cam Eliminator Plates depending how my alignment is after this.

Oh, and 5.29s and an ARB Air Locker for the front afterwards. Truck is going to get some much needed love and attention and hopefully is going to drive a ton better after all this is said and done.

Damn it! I was just convincing myself 33s would always be enough for me, but the list of my favorite Tacomas and 4Runners without 35s continues to dwindle. Your truck's about to go through a major makeover, can't wait! Are you gonna do the firewall tub yourself?

oh, ok - lol, I was searching!

Next time I'll order directly through you. I just saw opt Off-road having a sale so I just sent it through them.

Yeah, I convinced myself 33s were enough, but when I decided to regear and throw tundra brakes up front, I decided to just send it and get the 315s.

I do plan on doing the tub myself. I meant to practice welding on some sheet metal this past weekend, but I spent 7 hours washing my truck clean of mud. :deadbanana:

Looking good (especially once that mud was washed off lol). Looking forward to seeing how it looks with those 35's!

Should be a fun detour to see how capacity IFS is without diving down the rabbit hole of LT. I'm a little bit nervous about blowing holes through the cab of my truck but hopefully I can remedy that with a little sheet metal practice.

I'm very excited to see the FBR being a super rad sleeper. That was my original intention for my truck, but I lack self control sometimes......okay maybe most times. :anon:

I don't have the best self control lol. I'm already having a tough time leaving things alone. If I didn't have my wife holding me accountable, it would already be on 35's, with 4-link and long travel lol

Lmao! I definitely feel that. I kinda want to ditch the plate bumpers and modify my front to be a hybrid and go tube else where, but I'm definitely not ready to spend a grand on DOM tube. I'm even considering new coilovers, rear shocks and leaf springs now, but I don't feel like adding another 4k to what I've already spent.

Window shopping is a dangerous hobby. :smash:

I need to get some of those spindle gussets. Something I've been forgetting about.

Whitelines are a great upgrade for sure. I just did them last weekend on the new rig. Much firmer and more responsive.

I wasn't planning on spindle gussets originally, then a buddy of mine snapped his spindles. I very quickly added them to the list. :anon:

I'm glad to hear that about the Whitelines. LCAs are going to be out so I might as well freshen things up a little.

On these rigs, the most common reason the spindle snaps is the UBJ binds. Easiest way to combat this is for properly setup limit straps.

My IVD coilovers are limited internally from Icon since I wasn't planning on UCAs when I first lifted the truck. Probably a smart idea to add limit straps up front either way. Any recommendations?

I ordered some PRP limit straps for the new rig from OptOffroad. They aren't on the site, but if you email them you can get some. Also get some LCAR stuff from @eimkeith to mount the straps.
Also if you plan on rebuilding your shocks at any point, you can pull or shorten the spacers that limit the travel on the IVD coilovers.

Do you know the length of the PRP limit straps?

I did order the LCAR from Opt Offroad. Does that not come with the limit strap tab?

Next time I have to rebuild the coilovers I'm addings resi's and linear shim stacks... or I might just buy Fox shocks front and rear. :spy:

8" Straps
The LCAR comes with the limit strap tabs. You just gotta order the clevis kit for the upper mount separately to be able to dial in the strap and adjust it as it wears/stretches.

Good to know. I'll put limit strap on order once I get the front end ripped apart and put back together.

I guess it's also worth noting that I put the TC coil bucket gussets on order. Probably overkill since the truck doesn't see a bunch of go fast time, but oh well. :deadbanana:
