Good luck. Pro tip is to cut the UCA bolt and install a new one if you end up taking the UCAs out

I don't think it's as bad on the 4runners, but it's been awhile since I did a 5th gen. If they kept it the same as the 4th gen, there's holes under the battery tray and on the passenger side for the bolt to slide into the engine bay.

That aligns with what others have described (for LCAs). This could be an adventure. UCA shouldn't be an issue. It's one big-azz bolt.

Alignment cams on the LCAs definitely are a write off in the rust belt unless they are regularly removed and never seized.
