Awesome! That would be helpful!

Yeah no leaks would be great!!

Showing that it's clocked flat, and on the upper left where the ebrake mechanism had to be modified, and also where the floor got beat with a sledge for clearance (and still hits when the power train rotates enough even with a 2 inch body lift)

Mine leaks on the transmission side of the gear drive case adapter. Seems that the bolts back off so it loses enough pressure. Been off and resealed 3 times now with different combos of loctite and Toyota fipg and checking for flat surfaces

Triple stick setup from radesigns to keep a factory style and not lose a cup holder

Ah, so you are running a clocked adapter plate for the gear drive case? I guess its the same idea though.
If we can get @Tyler James Inc to come over here and discuss, we can get his input on some ideas. He was saying that there shouldn't be any oil between the trans and t-case, and that it's leaking from the coupler. Well how can we seal up the coupler?

BTW I've never dropped my t-case, so I'm just going off of information I've been told on how this shit works.

All I want is a damn flat belly and nobody has a solution for me.

Ultra Gray RTV or The Right Stuff. I used Ultra Gray and have no fluid between the crawl box adapter and the trans tailhousing.

Sealing it is easy. Getting the clocking ring made correctly will be the hard part.

So you have a proven way to seal the tail housing. I have a way to have the adapter plate made to not leak. Now we just need the actual dimensions to get the design made...

Well, the adapter plate doesn’t need to be made to not leak- it just needs to be made to not flex- thus allowing the trans output seal to not seat right and leak.
If there is oil between the trans and reduction box, the output seal on the trans is leaking.
I’ve pulled many Toyota tcases from their trans, and it’s always been dry in there.
If there is a leak at the adapter plate, the issue isn’t that the plate isn’t sealing well to either surface(trans or case), but that there is oil in there to begin with.
I have a tcase I can use for the pattern, but it isn’t gonna do anyone without drawing/modeling software and skill any good. I need to learn real quick.

I have the modeling software and skills to design the plate. I just need the pattern from the tcase and then I can get to work on it

Gear drive case is normal, but option to be clocked. The stock chain drive case is clocked flat.

My leak is on the case side of the adapter and always stays dry in the cavity between the trans and gear drive.

@Tyler James Inc said it best when he said the plate needs to be made to not flex, that could solve a lot of issues

Like the one I have sitting on my bench? It came with the TG adapter kit. I used RTV instead of the gasket.
Well then, someone needs to scan that shit into a CAD file and make a clocking ring that is rotated (what, 15* degrees?)

Is there a way to scan it into a CAD program? Or do you have to take measurements and draw it out? I have never touched CAD but have a Trail Gear dual case adapter sitting in a box for when I have free time.

I think @4Running Daily said he can can a gasket into a CAD file. Paging @4Running Daily !!!

It's stupid easy. Takes less than 5 minutes for me to import something like that and start modeling from it

Somebody get me the damn pattern and I'll have a rough design by Monday!

How about I send you a gasket? I'm sure I can order one and have it sent to you

That works for me. Thinking about this though will the plate need to have two different patterns? I haven't had a chance to crawl under the truck and look but I thought that the mounting pattern on the trans side is far different than the t case side. I don't think that is the case but for some reason I remember seeing a picture showing that it was but maybe that was just a totally different part lol

Edit: nevermind all that. I just took a look at some more pictures and I was getting what we are doing here mixed up with the gear drive case side of a dual case adapter. Looks like just the one gasket to connect the chain drive case is all I will need

Cool. I'll find the part and get PM your address to get it scanned. It should be the same pattern, just clocked, no? This would be a clocking ring for stock single case, so its just one pattern that is rotated however many degrees needed to be flat.
