Updates:

House is finished and listed. Hopefully gets an offer soon.

I also may have sourced a deal on a transmission, single 4.7 case that will work with my doubler. Transmission already has the short throw from Marlin as well.
With that also may have got my hands on a gotpropane kit and 4 bottles for a good price.

My simple build is going full project. Oh well, shits gonna be fun once it's all done. Still on a great budget.

I need to buy the adapter, clutch and drivelines. That will finish out the parts I need.... For now....maybe.... Hopefully...

Who am I kidding. Shits never gonna get done ;)

Just like selling my house and everything else I've got going on, in the end it'll be worth it. Sure it's a project with a ton of work stacking up but
It'll be a blast because everyone I wheel with is stepping up their rig game.
I get to learn a bunch of really cool shit like how to install and run propane, the 22r, solid axles, birfields and exo building.

Right now besides when I'm at work I'm trying to keep my head off the house sale by researching which dual adapter I should buy. It's quite a significant difference in price from AA to TG to Marlin.

The AA is around 300 but have had some feedback if it coming apart when running 4:7s and big tires.

TG has a decent following and their warranty is supposed to be good when it comes to them honoring it. It's price is about 500.

Marlin MC08 (new) this one just came out, it's based off the mc07x10. This adapter continues to evolve and now has the XD tech from the mc07 but in a billet housing. I've read that Marlins warranty is void when you install it. I've read that their customer service can go either way and fab delay is a problem.
The Marlin is built for the 4:7 duals, has super strong gears and bearings. The price is over $600 shipped.

So it comes down to how much I want to spend on a piece that if broken, wont be an easy trail fix.

The clutch however, I'm going with the 1600# from Marlin for sure.

TG seems to be a good in between from the other choices. Their warranty is good and usually has the parts on the shelf.

That's what I've read, they will honor warranty and ship you the replacement fast.

But it's a 50$ difference from TG to Marlin.

Warranty is worth more than 50 bucks to me, personally.

Particularly when it's 50 bucks LESS, for a better warranty.

Updates:

House is almost sold, just had appraisal today as well as finishing all requested repairs for my buyers.

Just waiting on the response from OpenDoor on the house I'm buying. They own it and it missed some things on inspection that I want resolved.

If everything goes smoothly, I'll be taking advantage of some black Friday sales for the crawler.
