Battery fine. Dude tested it 4 different times, but for peace of mind he's gonna run it through a bigger machine over night that runs a more extensive test on it. Starter next.

Fixed it, but not the problem. Battery checked out perfect. So perfect in fact it sat for 6 days and still had 13v when I picked it up. I'm reading 13v at the battery, but 6.4v inside at the monitor. Gonna get off my ass and pull the starter tomorrow. FML.

99% sure it's the starter. I just ran a cable from my block straight to the battery, and now I'm reading full voltage inside. The cable I just fixed goes to the starter.

Fun fact about intermittent draws and starters:
If you're starting a vehicle on low voltage, you're running a very high resistance circuit, and then you're dealing with alotta heat.

Best way to melt down a starter?
Try starting a vehicle on 8-9 volts. That slow ass cranking errbody lets happen a few times?
Best way to cook a starter and have it develop a shitload of resistance, which cooks other shit.

That's the funky shit Duke was mentioning.

I've got battery monitors in the cab so I've never started it on low voltage. If it's 12 or under I always charged or jumped. Whatever, I had to check out the easy shit first.
